What customers say

Friendly staff and good activities make for a great stay. Cabins are cozy and well-priced. Some facilities need updates, but the peaceful location is a plus.

2 bedroom ready tent

Liked The tent was nice and spacious and clean and the beds were really comfortable.

Disliked The placement of the tent. As I was a lone women with just my dog it was absolutely ridiculous that they pitch my tent smack bag in the middle of a teens activity break. I had to leave 2 days early due to the placement of the tent. I'd asked if this could be moved but didn't get a real response until after I'd already packed up. I'm a carer for 2 family members and this was the first break I'd had for 3 years. I was totally gutted to have to cut it short due to the fact my tent was put in the middle of the path way to everything and 20ish teenagers were having a blast around me.

Cabin

Liked Amazing experience. Accommodation is good in cabin as they were specious. However, the bunk beds are slightly awkward to climb for adults but kids are fine with bunk beds. Surrounded by green trees with game facilities like axe and arrow shooting and zip lining. Enjoyed games by both kids and adults. Claire, Aeron and other helpers are amazing hosts. I recommend staying there more than 2 or 3 days to enjoy the area. Sea (Great Yarmouth ) is about 40 mins away.

Liked What a fantastic little place this is ! We are group of 18 people with mix of different rooms absolutely loved this place on the Bank holiday weekend with load of activities and facilities.
The staff were fabulous including Aaron & Nichole who ran zip liner, Archery & Axe throwing. They both are such a lovely human being and always there for us with a smile. We are already planning to book for a week next year!

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite

Liked Great site, staff were brilliant. There's a communal kitchen with big bbq pits, microwave and fridge. Close to Norwich.we went canoeing, really lovely. River was calm and we went to Peice of Cake, which was great.

Disliked Toilets and showers could do with a refurb.

Cabin

Liked Lovely place to stay! They were super friendly and helpful.

Shower and toilets were good, the 'kitchen' area had everything we needed.
Fresh eggs onsite were also very appreciated!

The cabin was clean and tidy - basic but that was expected. The mattresses on the bunk beds were really comfy. There was lots of space for us, although we were four adults, one child and one dog in an 8 person cabin.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay there again!

Local attractions

Kids of all ages are sure to get excited by the prospect of a trip to the Norwich Puppet Theatre, and while you're in town there's also the town's cathedral and medieval castle to explore. Having the city's Roarr Dinosaur Adventure up your sleeve may also come in handy if you're travelling with any budding palaeontologists… For time by the water in and around the Norfolk Broads, you could take your rod and tackle down to Wensum Fisheries (15 minutes' drive) for a bit of quiet time or head to Wroxham (20 minutes) to hire a boat for self-piloted trips around the local area's waterways. If you'd rather away to the seaside instead, you can get down to the stretches of sand at Bacton (35 minutes) for days out on the beach, while over in Suffolk you can visit the UK's most easterly point at Lowestoft (50 minutes).
