Liked: Serenity, quiet environment facilities provided vast space available clean tent / bedding individual toilet provided for each tent other comments: not sure if there was wifi - didnt see the wifi option on our phone. Not too bothered as we have our own mobile data.

Disliked: Would be great if some form of light is provided at the shower area for shower in the evening. we have to use own torchlight - quite limited area to put the torch light. saw a few spiders hanging on webs in the shower. boiling water on the stove provided somehow took very long.

Liked: This place is a hidden gem! Perfect location for Yarmouth and the Norfolk coast. Quiet setting. The site is equipped with everything you'll need, with a well stocked kitchen, meaning you don't have to pack the kitchen sink like normal with camping! Utencils, cutlery, plates, cups, saucepans, bbq equipment.... endless list. Even essentials like tea, coffee, sugar and cereals are there to use. The bell tents are beautifully done, little 'home from home' details add that extra special touch. The beds are super comfy and the linen and fresh towels, amazing! Travelling with 4 children (ages between 8-17) and 2 adults is always a squeeze, but it didn't feel like that. Having the additional communal 'living room' tent was a bonus to spread out and play games, especially given we had the site to ourselves. Football pitch, which we also used for cricket. Showers and toilets clean and pleasant, each tent has its only toilet in the block so you don't have to share with everyone on site, just your own party. The hosts are wonderful, available, and happy to help. Local knowledge too which is useful, recommended Gorleston beach, which was fantastic. Will definitely try and go again, when I know we're in for a warm spell! Thank you so much Rebecca and Nick, it was a joy. Louise xx

Liked: Everything about this place was outstanding! We have travelled a lot and stayed on a lot of glamping sites and without a doubt, this was the best one. From the minute we arrived, we couldn't believe our luck in finding this place! Rebecca straight away took extra special care of us and went the extra mile to make us feel special and well looked after, she even bought us eggs and bacon back from the shop so we could have breakfast! Considering the price of this place, the level of care and service we received was like a 5 star hotel! They have decorated it so beautifully and the little touches didn't go unnoticed, like the bunting and fairy lights which gave it a really magical touch, the REAL toilets were a treat(!!), the warm showers, the lovely bed linen and towels, the beautiful colours and of course, the amazing views we had at this place! Also, a working kitchen to use that was fully stocked with all cutlery and things you may need(salt, pepper, oil). The whole place was so clean, as if you were inside not on a field! It was so peaceful, yet also not too far from everything near by and you can still get phone signal, which for people who work on online, was really great. Reedham is near by and we walked there both days and had a lovely pub lunch. Rebecca and Nick have created the most peaceful and magical set up, yet the most magical part is probably getting to meet them and spend time in their positive bubble world they live in! After meeting them and seeing their passion and joy for the site, you can see how that has been reflected in the care put into making the site as glamorous as it is. I am already thinking of who I can bring here and the excuses I can make to come back SOON! We needed a calm weekend in the countryside with good food nearby, and that's what we got!

Bell tent (six person)

Liked: Fantastic place to stay. Fabulous relaxing location with views over the fields. The Bell tents are super with very comfy beds, stylish warm bedding and towels. Table and chairs. Lovely finishing touches. (like a hotel room under the stars really). They are lovely. We had an allocated loo and loo roll, lots of basins, mirrors, hot showers and hairdryer which was really nice to have. There’s a great communal kitchen well equipped with kettle, stove, pans, utensils, cutlery, funky mugs, coffee, tea, milk, fridge, freezer, bbq, pizza oven etc. All very clean. Rebecca and Nick, the hosts/owners were ultra welcoming and friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed, lots of info about what to do in the area, activities, places to eat etc. There are lots of things to do and see. Great dinner overlooking the river at the Lord Nelson in Reedham and two amazing breakfasts, garden centre Moulton st Mary’s and Cannell’s in Reedham. We had a really fabulous stay. Thank you very much.

Bell tent (six person)

Liked: We are a family of 4 (kids aged 14 & 10) and this beautiful place was ideal for us. The location is great as it's within easy reach of lots of things to do, whilst being very peaceful. The owners made us feel so welcome - they went out of their way to help us find places to eat and watch the Lionesses! The beds are very comfy, and the tents are beautifully clean and laid out. Would highly recommend! I asked my daughter to write her own review: Absolutely loved it! The site was beautiful (and VERY clean), and the owners made a habit of visiting us every day just to say hello! It's a spectacular area, and I have already decided we are going back! This is perfect for families, and I enjoyed it so much! (Jemma, 10)

Liked: Amazing Glamping Experience! We had the most amazing, relaxing family break and can’t thank Rebecca and Nick enough for everything they did to make our stay so perfect. It was everything we hoped for and more. The facilities were fantastic, everything had been thought of. The bell tent was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The outdoor showers were wonderful and we loved having our own private toilet. The kitchen area was great, everything we needed was provided. We also enjoyed using the pizza oven! Our daughter had great fun in the chill tent, playing games and on the football pitch. Rebecca and Nick are really knowledgeable about the local area and gave us great advise on the best places to visit, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend for a peaceful, relaxing break. We look forward to visiting again.

Local attractions

This corner of Norfolk serves up lots of kid-friendly days out. First stop might be Pettitts Animal Adventure Park (five minutes’ drive) for turns on the carousels as well as snake encounters. Hot on the heels of that comes Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park (half an hour), where you can watch seal shows and scare yourself on thrill rides. If you’re looking for a day of running around in forests, BeWILDerwood Norfolk adventure park (25 minutes) more than fits the bill. Keen for some messing about on the water? Take a guided cruise on the waterways of Hickling Broad (half an hour) on a traditional Norfolk wooden boat, or take the dinky chain ferry across the River Yare at Reedham (five minutes) and have a stroll along its pretty waterfront. Kids hinting at the beach? There’s a long sandy stretch just ready for sandcastle building at Great Yarmouth (20 minutes), as well as fairground rides at the Pleasure Beach, strolls down Britannia Pier and traditional fish and chip shops.
