Liked: Excellent, cheap pitch. Gwen was very welcoming, she made sure everything was ready on arrival, and set up a table in the pub for a lovely home made meal, and was ready to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend that any walkers taking the Icknield way plan a stop at the Red Lion.

Liked: Really friendly staff, the available facilities are very good and there was nothing I disliked at all, I would highly recommend and the price was extremely good. The surrounding location is ideal for walkers or those wishing to do longer local walks.

Liked: I arrived late, around 9pm and was greeted by the friendly owner, who knew my name and my booking details. I was given a guided tour of the best place to pitch and the code to access the toilet facilities. The campsite is very quiet. I will definitely come here again as it is a great place to stop off on my way to London.
