Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: Brilliant! Warm and friendly welcome from Sue, who showed us around and gave us tea while we chatted! Lovely, small relaxed campsite, at the end of a lane...very quiet and peaceful. It feels very safe here. Beautifully kept with tidy, if quirky gardens. Showers immaculately clean. Care and attention from the owner is obvious. Felt like nothing was too much trouble. We didn't want to leave! Thank you Sue and Bob!

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The pitch was great and the facilities were of a very high standard. There was a short walk just offsite which was handy for the dogs, and a pub about 20mins away.

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: This site is immaculate, quiet and well placed for exploring the wash, heacam and snettisham beaches, the five bells pub is a 10 minute walk away and food was lovely. Sue was super welcoming and friendly and the mini guinness brought round on saturday for all the guests was a lovely touch. One of the best facility blocks we have ever seen.

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: A warm welcome from Alan who showed me around the immaculate facilities whilst Sue was entertaining a large group on my arrival. Once settled Sue popped over to introduce herself and to ensure all was well. Very relaxed, warm, positive vibe from this little gem of a site.

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: A great little spot, away from the hustle and bustle. A lovely walk to the local pub (food served daily). Spotless toilets and really friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet little get away

Disliked: We didnt experience this but there may be a queue during busy times for the toilet/shower as only 2 available

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: What a great little site. Sue and Bob were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are very well maintained with many items of interest all around from road and railway signs to old farm implements. The shower and toilet block is pristine and very clean. Step out of the trees and you are on open Fenland walks, great if you have dogs. Convenient for the market towns of Wisbech and Kings Lynne and Sandringham and North Norfolk beaches a little over half an hour away. I cannot recommend this site enough and will definately being returning in the future.

Power optional grass and earth campsite

Liked: We chose this campsite as it was adults only, and it didn’t disappoint! In fact for two of the nights we were the only people there. The facilities were immaculate and Sue could not have been a better host. She gave us all the necessary information and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We spent five glorious days exploring the north coast of Norfolk.

On your maiden voyage to this part of the land? There’s plenty to occupy your time, like the local golf course (five minutes’ drive) with its gym, bar and café food, the Springfields Outlet Shopping & Leisure (25 minutes) for a shopping free-for-all, or the Norfolk coast (45 minutes) for watersports. The local towns and cities are chock-full with a number of different activities, no matter your taste, too. Perhaps you’re waiting for market day in Long Sutton (10 minutes)? Or you’d rather make the most of all the entertainment in Peterborough (45 minutes), where there’s a shopping centre, cathedral, bowling alley, museums, cinema, retail parks and the Ferry Meadows country park? Ely (55 minutes) is another cathedral city to add to the count, with lots of lovely architecture and riverside bars and restaurants.
