What customers say
This peaceful, small campsite boasts lovely country views. Guests rave about its cleanliness, friendly owners, and well-kept facilities. Though access roads are narrow, the quiet location and roomy pitches are big pluses. Some found showers chilly in cooler weather & amenities distant, but it's great for a relaxing escape.

Liked Lovely views and a decent sized, level pitch. Although the site was basic, toilets were new and pristine and the site as a whole was tidy. Owner Tom was very welcoming and texted us accurate directions. Good for dogs. There are a couple of nice places to eat & drink locally (but only if you fancy a bit of a walk or a drive).
Disliked Showers weren't available. A bit muddy in places but it was early March after a very wet winter so not exactly the campsite's fault.

From the manager: Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re really pleased you enjoyed the lovely views and found the pitch a good size and level. It’s great to hear that the new toilets and the overall tidiness of the site stood out during your stay.
Thank you as well for your kind words about the welcome and directions — we always try to make arrival as easy as possible. We’re glad your dog enjoyed the visit too!
You’re absolutely right that early March, especially after such a wet winter, can leave a few muddy patches, but we appreciate your understanding. The showers are something we’re working on and hope to have available in the future.
We hope to welcome you back again when the ground is a little drier!
