What customers say
Quiet, friendly campsite with stunning views and spotless amenities. Staff are welcoming, the cafe's great, and alpacas are a hit. Be aware of the bumpy access road and steep hill to facilities. Excellent value.

Thanks to John and all there
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Everything
Disliked Toilets / showers were fine but too far for me - I'm disabled . I had to drive - I'm lucky that I could but others won't be .

From the manager: Thanks Ian
Similar to Graham above we hope to get a small toilet block installed as soon as we have the electricity on site (it's long story!). We'll keep pushing, Ian.
Thanks for your comments, these are important.

Paul

Nice for a couple of days relaxing away from the city.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Its a small family run campsite in nice surrounding area with 5 well looked after fishing pools and the staff are very helpful and pleasant..
Disliked Unfortunately there's a bit of a trek to go to the toilet if you are camping.

From the manager: Thank you Graham.
As you know we are off grid but we have applied for on grid electric connection. As soon as we have this installed we will be able to install a small toilet block on the camping field. It is an extremely slow and annoying process dealing with N/Grid and other associated 'powers-to-be', so it is likely to be months rather than weeks.
Best wishes.
Paul

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Small site with a big heart! Loved all the animals and being able to feed them, FANTASTIC breakfast in the cafe. Bonus craft shop thrilled to come home with an Alpaca fleece for spinning and off cuts for felting. What a talent Julie is! Far too short a stay. Brilliant location for nearby family.
Disliked Having to come home!

Loved it! Would return if there were electric pitches available here
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Location is wonderful, so peaceful and quiet yet not too far from Birmingham. Animals were nice to see and the kids loved them. Clean toilets and showers available. Secure with CCTV.
Disliked It's not easy walking back and forth to the toilets, I am fit enough to and didn't mind so much. They do warn you of this when booking online though so don't book if this is an issue.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Flat gravel pitch, nice views
Facilities looked clean
Cafe looked nice with good choice
Disliked Booked hardstanding with grass pitch. Was quite surprised that non-hard standing bookings could just pitch up anywhere and be as close to you as they fancied and take up as much room as they wanted. Facilities a walk down steep hill, we didn’t need them. Access track muddy and very rough potholed

Brilliant and highly recommended.
