What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site with lovely views, alpacas & fishing. Owners are friendly & helpful, facilities clean, cafe good value. Downsides: long, steep walk to toilets/showers from camping; rough approach road.

Great value stay short distance from city centre in a quiet location.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Small friendly site and really cheap. Nice to see the horses, alpacas and wildfowl. Friendly owners. Hard to believe only 10 miles from the centre of Birmingham.

Lovely site and would stay again
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Very quiet relaxing site. The camping field is to the right as you come down the lane on an elevated bit so you can see for a long way over the tops. The lane is a bit bumpy but if you slow down, its not too bad. We stayed on a pitch with no electric, owner just told us to pitch wherever which worked well. Everyone very respectful of this.
Good phone signal. Not far from an Aldi supermarket by car.
Disliked Didn't really affect us, but the toilets and showers are down quite a long steep hill. Not ideal if your mobility isn't great.

Liked I don’t even know where to start , I stayed here from Monday 13th July 2026 till Friday 17th July 2026 it was lovely, peaceful and quite the owners was lovely and very welcoming the cafe was very well priced with many options . They even had a wash up area for dishes , several fishing ponds . The showers and toilet was very clean . They are dog friendly they have activities like fishing you can even feed the alpacas who love a good fuss there’s so much things I could say but my overall experience was amazing I have nothing negative to say about my stay

Stunning, beautiful, peaceful, quiet, clean and welcoming campsite
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Beautiful campsite, warm welcome and nice and peaceful. Loved that there was little walks around the campsite and the animals there.
Disliked Quite a big hill to walk to to the toilets, this was the only disadvantage but didn't at all ruin our stay and we will definitely be back soon.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked very chilled and laid back small site getting back to nature. Plenty of wildlife (including the Alpacas), free to pick your own spot, nice little cafe with very friendly site owners. Clean toilets and showers.
Disliked A fair distance to the toilets and showers from the campsite, down a hill along a narrow road.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Myself and my daughter stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Although the site was busy, we were not cramped and did not have to wait for the facilities. Clean and tidy toilets and a good shower too. Great view from the campsite and it was quiet at night. Site owners are very lovely, kind and thoughtful too. Lovely to see the alpacas and there's a lovely walk you can do round the fishing lakes. Lots of wildlife and wild flowers to see. We had a cracking breakfast at the cafe and they make a super cup of tea too. We will certainly be back and we highly recommend this site. Thanks for a lovely stay xxx
Disliked Nothing to dislike!

Excellent well kept site would definitely be back. Minus generator.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely well looked after site. Toilets were lovely and clean on the friday night. Alpacas were a great hit with my granddaughter (only £1 for food to feed them) and the lovely walk around the nature walk and fisheries pools. Breakfast at cafe was delicious and a very reasonable price. Owners were really nice and helpful.
Disliked Someone on the site used a petrol generator through the night so didn't get much sleep due to the noise. (Owners apologised when told.)
Saturday lots of match fishing going on (that not a problem as it is a fishery) but toilets became very unclean due to water being splashed on floors and toilets not being flushed. Not owners fault as there were so many fishermen.
