Field stay primitive grass and earth campsite (pet friendly)
Liked: Really surprised by the great facilities here, the fantastic farm shop with an array of wonderful produce, the warm welcome we were greeted with. The free showers and toilets near the shop was a great addition as well as I think the cleanest portaloos I've ever been in dotted throughout the meadow fields. We'll definitely be back

The Meadow primitive grass campsite (no pets)
Liked: Very spacious, available portaloo and farm shop. The 2 girls I met were fab, very friendly. They sell meat and wood.
Disliked: There's only 2 showers and 1 washing up sink. They all could do with updating and cleaning. I wouldn't come in the high season

The Meadow primitive grass campsite (no pets)
Liked: The site is across large fields which are part of a working farm. You pick where you pitch and there is so much space! The site is mainly flat, it’s clean with portaloos spaced regularly. If you aren’t a fan on portaloos, there is a functional toilet and shower block on the farm itself. The fire-pits are a lovely touch and it was wonderful to lie on the grass and look at the stars listening to the fire crackling. My daughter, her friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely be back. It’s in a great location and very reasonably priced! Brilliant!
Disliked: My only niggle was there was no toilet roll (or spare rolls) in the toilet block during the night.

Field stay primitive grass and earth campsite (pet friendly)
Liked: Pitches are as big as you like! Lots of privacy and space. We camped under a huge oak tree, near a pond which was full of life - lots of bugs, frogs, and newts! Well stocked farm shop with everything you may need. Porta loos and also "proper" toilets. Kitchen area with toaster, fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up facilities with hot water. More than we expected and could have asked for. Small woodland to explore. Peaceful. Lovely sunrise and sunset

The Meadow primitive grass campsite (no pets)
Liked: Initially hated the fact that I had been told to camp in the field a land there was only a couple of other men camping there when I had booked the meadow. BUT after the first night I loved the solitude and the views from the hill. I actually became annoyed when others arrived the second night 😂. It’s rustic but the clue is in the name!
