Liked: Very nice location with fabulous views across the valley and lovely hosts and facilities as good as they get for the size of the park. Lovely large pitch area's, and the added working farm gave the rural setting it's finishing touch.

Liked: Liked everything, from start to finish just perfect! I texted a few days before asking a question and Karen replied very quickly. On the day of travel I received a text explaining everything about our stay, such a lovely gesture…so personal. We were on the manifold pitch and surrounded by animals all sides and beautiful countryside views. On site there is goats, chickens, ducks, cows and sheep! In reception you can purchase fresh eggs for 25p each, do the dishes, borrow books and dvd’s, borrow games, find tourist information and a sink for doing the dishes. Also there is a toilet and shower, with mirror and hairdryers. All amenities were very clean and beautifully finished. At the end of the site there is a field for walking your dogs with dog poop bin which is a bonus, plenty of benches around to sit and watch the world go by. We loved our stay and would definitely go back, I can’t thank Karen and Andrew enough so lovely and friendly.

Liked: We stayed on a gravel pitch, much needed in this current weather. Nice and big with lovely views all around, working farm and lovely to see the animals especially the naughty goats. The reception has the washing up sink, toilet and shower, very nice and spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed and could see us staying again

Dovedale powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: This is a working farm in a very peaceful location, very friendly owners. Very clean and modern facilities. There's a good dog walking field but was too wet to use.
Disliked: The pitches are situated on the edge of the track that leads up to the farm which felt a bit unusual. There's only one toilet/shower for the whole campsite, although it is a very small site. No visible walks near to the site.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review, we are a very small site with only 5 pitches in total, however we are hoping to have another toilet/shower on site in the near future. We have many walks close by which previous guests have enjoyed, we have many public footpaths in very easy reach of the farm, we provide lots of walking books on site for people to choose where they would like to go, hope we see you again in the future. Kind regards Karen and Andrew

Liked: We stayed for 1 night in our campervan on the hardstanding pitch. It's a lovely, small site, in a great area, with fab views and good phone signal. Facilities were clean and tidy. Owners were friendly and helpful. Selection of games and dvds to borrow during your stay! Fresh eggs were available to buy - they were delicious 😋 We will definitely be back.
