Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked: Facilities were spot-on. The toilets and showers were clean. There was kettle, freezer and charging points which is really useful. The site was quiet in a picturesque setting with plenty of room to pitch without encroaching on others. The owner came around to check everything was OK each day. A pleasant walk to Knighton out into the country. A magnificent Oak wood covers the hillside above the site which is well worth the climb.

Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Really nice and well-kept site, plenty of space and choice of pitches. The scenery around is lovely, you can walk straight out onto a few different walking trails, plus the town of Knighton nearby - at the campsite you feel like you could be in the middle of nowhere, but you can still get anything you need and a good meal a few minutes away. Even though the site got busier through the week, the facilities never felt stretched and were clean and well-stocked. The owners were really friendly, generally a great set-up and we all (adults, plus small and big children) had a great trip!

Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked: What a gem of a campsite to find, just back from May bank holiday and it was fantastic. The campsite was quite busy but there are fields after fields to take your pitch. The facilities are excellent and never to busy and a lovely horsebox cafe serving anything from coffee to paninis. The owners are lovely and very helpful. The site has a lovely river running through, which you can follow into Knighton where you don't need for anything, we came across the Horse and Jockey which is a must. We will definitely be returning.
Disliked: We had to leave!!

Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked: This place is in an absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by beautiful countryside, but only a short walk along the river to the town. There is a kitchen with kettle, microwave, fridge, sink, phone charging, very useful- I think there is also a coffee van. The showers/toilets immaculate, and the owner very friendly and helpful. The pitches are lovely and individual, with space for your car. You are right on the Offas Dyke path, and the walks are amazing. This site is an absolute gem, and you should go there if you haven't already!
