  • Tree-lined site around 20 minutes from Nottingham city centre by bus
  • In the countryside five minutes' drive from Cotgrave Country Park
  • Member price shown; non-members select £10/night extra
Can’t decide between a getaway in the countryside or the bright lights of the city? Good news: there’s no need to pick just one at Nottingham Club Site, a tree-lined location that's just six miles from the centre of Nottingham, a journey that can be completed in only 20 minutes by bus or car. The site is managed by the Camping and Caravanning Club, where members and non-members are both welcome; however, there’s a reduced rate for members, so please make sure you select the correct membership status when booking. Modern facilities are the standard here and include three family rooms and a laundry room. There are also eco-friendly features, like solar-powered heating. The main perk, though, is its stunning location on the outskirts of Nottingham. Firstly, it's exceptionally easy to get to, being near major roads such as the A52 and A46 and having excellent bus connections just to make things even simpler. Of course, staying just outside of Nottingham has its advantages too. One is that it's just a short drive from streets and streets of cafés, restaurants and shops of all kinds. Two is that you're all set to visit its castle, major sports stadiums and one of England’s oldest surviving inns. Outside of the city, you could go for green strolls (with your binoculars in hand) at Cotgrave Country Park, just a five-minute drive away, or browse the many castles that still stand strong in the area. There are plenty of family attractions around too, including the Twinlakes Outdoor Waterpark, 25 minutes’ drive away.
