What customers say
This is a quiet, friendly campsite on an organic farm, with a popular cafe and shop. New, clean restrooms are frequently mentioned. Guests enjoy the space for kids, fire pits, and relaxed atmosphere. Some road/jet noise and difficult access for larger vehicles are noted.

The combination of camping, a café and organic food shop is excellent
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Very spacious camping area where you can pitch in an open area or snuggled up close to the woodland.Fantastic facilities with two bathroms with showers/toilets One toilet for disabled campers and one room with toilet and wash basin.A separate block closer to the camping field is older but still very clean. It has a toilet and wash basin plus a pot washing rea. Also there is a toilet emptying facility adjoining. An excellent café is on site providing really good organic food from 8am until 4pm.Opens earlier for campers and is used by customers to their long established organic farm shop.Recommended!
Disliked Some road noise but not an issue for me.Not really an issue.

Overall peaceful site with new facilities block and onsite cafe / shop
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very friendly owner and site staff. Lovely cafe and shop onsite. Very peaceful and quiet. Very nice toilet and shower block.
Disliked Water tap is a bit far from the actual camping area.
A bit sloping on the pitches in the field so bring levelling blocks if you are in a motorhome or campervan.
If you are in a tall motorhome be careful of the overhanging branches and hedges on the access track.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Immaculate showers and toilets in the new block and smaller toilet and washing up area a little further away
Lots of space for the children to run around, we were the only people camping at the time.
A basic campsite with all the necessary facilities.
Lovely and quiet
Disliked Ground a bit bumpy and holey but didn't effect us has we were the only ones there so could pick were we wanted to pitch.
Didn't think it was worth the money but would happily stay again just for a night's get away with the children.
The lady in the cafe didn't seem to know anything about us camping there, wasn't really much help and when asked a question she seemed a bit off and didn't know what to say. A gentleman visited us about 7.30pm to tell us where things were, ( we had kind of figured it out on our own )

Liked Had a great stay, clean well-kept site. New toilet and shower block, no waiting!
Good amount of people, not too busy, plenty of space.
Toilets lovely and clean but locks stiff, a couple of us got stuck, but a team member was quick to help.

Liked Lovely small quiet site, with pristine showers/toilet block. Team running it very friendly. Great location if you’re doing activities in and around Nottingham. Setting in small organic farm is very pleasant.

Not going to rush back Lady in the shop Rude Great organic shop
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked That it was organic
Disliked The road to the field was totally unsuitable for my motorhome
Over grown trees scratched all along the side of the van
Then it was practically impossible to level as the field is very uneven more suitable for tents and camper vans
There weren’t any designated pitches so campers were allowed to camp to close to each other making it very unsafe in the event of fire

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely and quiet campsite, brand new shower block and toilets which were well maintained. Cleaner walked the site everyday, emptying bins and cleaning facilities. Nice cafe and farm shop on site, my children loved walking down to see and feed the chickens each morning. Option to hire a fire pit too which we did on our second night. The owner is lovely and very approachable.
Disliked Some areas around the site are untidy, and looked a bit like a junkyard however this didn’t spoil our experience at all as it wasn’t in view of the camping field, only noticeable if you walked around the farm.
