Liked: Fairly straightforward getting set up. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: Its not a very scenic site, some areas are really run down with broken old caravans covered in moss. You access it through a scruffy industrial estate which isn't a great start.

Liked: We booked this site as an stop over to break from a journey home from Cornwall. I read the reviews leading up to our stay and was a little worried. On arrival we were met by a lovely warden who allowed access onto site. She explained where all facilities were and showed us to our pitch. We had asked to be close to the park and they 100% gave us this!! When we arrived I was a but alarmed that the site looked to be residential. We have encountered a bad experience of this prior to staying on this site. All residential/seasonal pitchers were welcoming and pleasant.. The facilities are immaculate. Yes a little tired but very clean. The wardens could not be more helpful. The drive up to site is fine. Yes it's small road but having been in Cornwall this is nothing 😆.
Disliked: On arrival a bit alarmed at it being a residential site due to past experience however all residential/seasonal are very welcoming. No bad behaviour. All quiet by dusk. Toilet paper ran out but this happens!

Liked: The positives are small, but the pitches clean and quite roomy
Disliked: The site is small you have to access it through an industrial site with a VERY small one car road, the road is also horrendous, its through a field and our poor van was bounced about all over. We arrived and was greeted by the male caretaker, he was pleasant, when we stepped out of the car the smell of the waste tank hit us first, it was a hot weekend, but it was bad. The toilet block is ok, no toilet flushes and there was poop in every toilet every time i went in, the shower had no heating and was freezing, i spoke to a lady that was staying there and she said its always cold, the mens arent but the womens are. I had to send my kids into the mens for a shower as they just couldnt stand in it. The site was near nothing, and I mean nothing, overpriced and pay as you go electric, you pay the caretaker and he puts it on, you cant see yourself how much is left, we arrived Friday night, we dont run a fridge, water heater, we literally watched tv for an hour before bed, went out early morning and got back around 6ish, the caretaker came and asked to check the meter so it didnt go in the night and we had 1.88 left??? We paid another 10 pounds, again left very early Sunday morning and was gone the entire day eating out, arrived back about 8.30pm, sat outside used zero electric and the morning went turn the tv and it had gone?? Something odd with this. Then the caretaker female, she couldnt string a sentence together without an explicit word, not mild either, i mean Fs and Cs. I needed to hand in the barrier key and get my deposit back when leaving and she told me she wasnt allowed in the office incase she nicked something but nobody was around so it was tough. We couldnt wait to get away from this place.

Liked: The friendly staff, who nothing was to much trouble.
Disliked: 1)Not being told the boiler in the ladies shower was not working during booking or when checked in & had been like this for a few weeks. 2)The cost of the electricity. 3) Being charged £6 for a 2nd car & having to park outside the gate, when I queried this I was told that they don't charge this pitch up do, as their rules state only 1 car per pitch is allowed. 4) My son in law came to see his children & was charged £2 for the day to come onsite & £2 to park outside the barrier. 5) Having the family from hell consisting of mom, dad & 8 children. The children was left to do there own thing whilst the parents was in the caravan. The children were a nightmare throwing stones, kicking balls up caravans, wondering into people's caravans asking for food & toys. I was not the only person who experienced this several other people I spoke with said the same. 6) The playground consisted of 2 swings, a slide & a climbing frame which had seen better days.
