Liked: Beautiful setting in the country, with Ingoldmells a 5 minute drive away. Very well maintained pitch, we stayed on the grass pitch. Dog friendly with a nice walk around the perimeter of the site. Greeted by a lovely staff
Disliked: If I'm going to be picky - it was 50p to use the showers that only lasted 4-5 minutes, had to use a good few 50p to complete my shower but wasn't an issue really

Liked: Brilliant site clean and well looked after, we were welcomed by the owner and his wife and given our booklet with the site rules in it and issued our pitch number. the pitches were second to none and they even included a tarmac parking area for the car. All through the stay the owners made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay they also have a food van and the food is gorgeous well worth a visit The fishing was brilliant with a 3 day ticket costing £20 the weather wasn't that good but we really enjoyed our stay here and will defiantly be going back all in all this was the best site i have been on in my 5 years of touring. Big thankyou to all the staff on site you made our holiday brilliant

Liked: Phenomenal is the only way to describe the Laurels Caravan Park, from its immaculate kept ground/pitches/facilities to the service from all the staff & owners (who are all friendly and immensely approachable) the Laurels sets an incredibly high standard, the owners are always present each day doing a tour of the grounds. Each pitch is well maintained and looks like new (some are, not that you could tell the difference). Fishing was great and each peg well-spaced with plenty of fish to catch (my partner and I hit new personal bests). There was a lot of welcoming faces with a mix of 1st time visitors and seasonal resident, all happy to chat and talk about there adventures (there is no “click”) The site is clearly a labour of love for the owners who seem to put everything they get from the site back into trying to make it ever better. Side notes: 1) There are a number of take-a-ways that deliver for the nights you don’t feel like cooking. 2) On site washing (both you and your cloths). 3) They offer very tasty hot cobs on the weekends in the “munch box” (very well priced). 4) The lakes are not closed on match days. 5) Local to Ingoldmells/ Fantasy Island and just a little further along also Skeg Vegas. We enjoyed our visit so much we have already booked for next year as well as a lodge for older family members to join us. We are counting down the days.
