Liked: Lovely tidy site,relaxing & a great site for nature ! Some super walks & looked very good for fishing,plus a small lake for paddle boarding ! Showers & toilets are ok. Nice to have a cafe & bar there,nice lunches & coffee,but main dinner not the best….better off taking your own main meals to cook !

Disliked: Main meals not reccomended !

Liked: Flat hardstanding pitches

Disliked: Felt very claustrophobic with little space in between pitches. The toilets are for the use of the 32 pitches plus visitors to the cafe/bar and people fishing at the lake. They were cleaned first thing in the morning but when I went to use a cubicle early evening the toilet bowl was in a disgusting state. The two urinals are immediately inside the external door so if you are using one when someone enters the toilets you are in full view to all and sundry. I like more privacy and quiet than this site offered.

Camping pod (pet friendly, basic, twin)

Liked: Cleanliness of the whole site, welcomed by staff when checking in. Pods were warm inside from a heater. Great to have kettle, microwave and electricity. Great little find. Will definitely return.

Liked: The park was extremely well kept and the facilities were good. The staff were so friendly and polite. I had problems with the wi-fi provider, however, he called me back and gave me free access to this so I could work remotely. I did like the Codebreaker IPA in the bar :-)

Liked: The full service pitchers are very wide with plenty of room for your awing with a grass area as well , the toilet & showers are clean with plenty of room & hot water, the reception staff were very helpful, the restaurant & food were good but with only one chef on the restaurant stopped serving food at 4pm , staff were very helpful & will return again .

Disliked: A bit near the Train line

Camping pod (comfort, double, no pets)

Liked: Loved the area and pod that we stayed in beautiful surroundings and easy access to Lincoln.

Disliked: Could do with being allowed to drive right up to pod and unload your car could easily put car back in car park when unloade. And just one miner detail could do with a stool in showers.

Liked: Everything. Lovely clean tidy and well laid out site.Great amenities and all very clean and very functional Nice big pitches. Excellent dog walks

Disliked: No Wi-Fi. Couldn’t get on after free first hour. Given a phone number for a connection but no one answered . Still, it was fine without it

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The park will send you further check-in information 7 day(s) before your arrival.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Extras

Facilities/activities including Fishing are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

A state-issued fishing license is required (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancelation period are only possible if the park is able to relet your unit/site.
The fishing lakes are stocked with Carp, roach, ide, perch, tench, barble and F1.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
This campground/park does have a catch-and-return fishing policy in place.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
Swimming in the lake is not allowed.

Sites

Please note, pup tents are to be used for storage purposes only. Guests may not use them for sleeping.
Sites: a £10.00 ($12.13) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Taxes

This area is not subject to city tax.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
Units longer than 9 metres are not allowed.

Visitors

Visitors must leave the premises by midnight.

Additional terms

Reception opening times: Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

Hired accommodation: £50 for the shepherd's hut and £25 for the pods damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
