Liked: Shower and toilet blocks were checked regularly. Clean facilities, large open space. 10 minute drive from fantasy island. £10 for the hire of a big firepit/grill and bucket of wood (enough for 1 night, we purchased more from the local B&M) The only thing that spoiled our stay a little (at no fault of the owners) is a family of campers near us who had a large cinema screen set up outside, with loud volume and music til 3am despite the no noise policy past 11pm. But I understand the owners couldn't possibly police everyone on this and it is the guests responsibility to adhere to this rule out of respect for other campers. Otherwise a great campsite and acceptable prices at £30 per night with electric.
Disliked: The field was rather empty our entire duration with plenty of electric pitches spread out across the park, yet a family were put on a plot right next to ours. Not a problem but it would be better if people could be spaced out more until the park is more full. This family had a very yappy dog which can become quite annoying when in a tent and can't block out the outside noises. So just a suggestion that those with pets and those without could be placed in separate areas of the park.
