Let Alan, Jo, their two sons and labrador welcome you into the lovely Lincolnshire countryside… the rural location and the splendid views at The Lazy Buzzards might convince you that you’re tucked firmly away in nature’s big backyard, which is true aside from the fact that the seaside resort of Skegness is only 10 minutes’ drive to the east (that’s a 15-minute pedal for those of you who have brought a pair of wheels along). Families, dogs, couples and any fans of a barbecue will find this family-run site particularly splendid. The nearest dog-friendly pub is only 20 minutes’ walk away and there are many other options for tasty fodder in the pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages, towns and cities, including Burgh le Marsh (half an hour’s walk), Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive), Spilsby (15 minutes), Chapel St Leonards (15 minutes), Alford (20 minutes), Horncastle (25 minutes), Louth (half an hour) and Lincoln (an hour). With the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds three miles away, pick up the pace with rambles through the valleys, woodlands or chalk pits, and then return to the spacious four-acre site for some thorough relaxation. The views over the Lincolnshire fields make for some spectacular barbecues, that’s for sure. When it’s time to see Skegness and all of its sights, simply join the A158 nearby. Once there, you might have a hard time deciding on between all the indoor and outdoor attractions, which include the Fantasy Island theme park, bowling alleys, a cinema, fairground, crazy golf and a beach. Perhaps pick up some fish and chips or ice cream and take a parade along the seafront and pier or nose around the shops on the high street too?

Liked Great campsite & location.
Nice friendly owner.
Plenty of space, although wasn’t full.
Basic facilities but they were fine.

Disliked No sinks to wash hands at the toilets other than the ones in the showers but not many toilets & showers for amount of pitches so if campers using the showers you could not wash hands after using the loo. Hand sanitizer provided but not great dispenser's so the handles & locks on the toilet doors will be a breeding ground with shared germs.!

Bell tent

Liked Lovely campsite, the bell tent had everything you could ask for in it, very spacious. Lovely to have the bench for outside, also the kettle was ideal and bbq included which we used with our friends.

A group of 20 of us attended this weekend with children and dogs. Also having the bell tent, the cottage and tent area accommodated all of our group.

The children enjoyed the open space, also having an area for the dogs to run around in was fantastic. We will definitely be back

Liked Piece and quietness and it allows pets on cite so you can allow your fur babies to join your holiday has electric pitches and drinking water at your camp spot 2 toilet and shower blocks such all together you have 5 toilets and 5 showers between the 1 blocks

Liked The showers and toilet blocks were very clean and conveniently placed, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, the campsite itself was well maintained with large enough space for the kids to run around and play, the optional extra of a firepit was definitely worth the extra paid, great value for money!
