  • Six canvas cottages proving your peaceful back to nature break
We believe that our luxurious canvas cottages are truly the best glamping accommodation that you will find anywhere in the UK. The cottages have been designed with peace and practicality in mind. The canvas cottages are located in the Spinney Field, a five acre picturesque field in the heart of the farm positioned perfectly to catch the evening sunlight. This is a fabulous location, with wonderful far reaching views of glorious countryside, a real old fashioned farm landscape, woodland, tall hedges and ‘patchwork quilt’ fields. The cottages are grouped with privacy in mind, nestled beside woodland and hedgerows, particularly Bluebells, our most romantic, sumptuous, retreat for two. All of the other five canvas cottages sleep six and are named after animal homes; Rabbits Warren, Moles Hill and Foxs Den are built into the field banks and have delightful far reaching views. Hares Form is tucked away at the side of the wood perched a little higher with a wood-fired hot up and nestled in the corner of the wood on the lower field area is Badgers Sett. The cottages are wonderfully spacious, a living area with a farmhouse kitchen dresser, an old fashioned butler’s sink with brass taps and thick chunky wooden work tops. The soul of the tent is a delightful wood burning fire with an oven and stove top for preparing delicious breakfasts and late suppers, oh and not forgetting the whistling kettle! The styling of the cottages is vintage country chic; romantic faded florals, distinctive stripes, checks and rambling blooms with rustic farmhouse furniture creating a nostalgic, tranquil and enchanting atmosphere. Each has a leather sofa to curl up on and a dining table for food or games. The cottages sleep six; the accommodation is ideal for family and friends with two bedrooms, each home to wonderfully comfortable beds with luxury duvets and throws. The third ‘bedroom’ is a double bed housed in a secret wooden cabin, always an attraction for the children. The Dandelion Hideaway is elegantly exclusive in offering luxurious en-suite bathrooms in our vintage style canvas cottages! We are pretty sure that we are unique in the UK Glamping sector with our wonderful bathrooms…all of the canvas cottages have a gorgeous free standing roll top bath with a chrome shower as well and a separate sink and WC. And of course the absolute icing on the cake is the piping hot water for that luxurious relaxing bath in the countryside! So no trudging along to a shower block or even stepping outside of the tent! All of our beautiful canvas cottages have recently been installed with electric, bringing them more towards modern day life. There is now access to an electric kettle, toaster, heaters and lamp lighting, making your tray that much more comfortable.
