  • Peaceful pop-up site on a working farm with a friendly family vibe
  • Leicester attractions such as the Golden Mile from 15 minutes’ drive
  • Plenty of walks nearby; bus stop and shop a short walk away
Looking for a peaceful break by Leicester? Here you go: Scraptoft Lodge Farm is a pop-up site on a working farm, 15 minutes’ drive from Leicester attractions such as the Golden Mile. There’s a friendly family vibe all across this Leicestershire site and lots of splendid animals like sheep and friendly goats. The pop-up site has a composting toilet and a peaceful spot surrounded by countryside (look out for more animals and hay bales or perhaps a paraglider gliding overhead). There are plenty of green spaces to unwind and lots of walks in the local area for those looking to venture out into the countryside. Barbecues have the green light, so perhaps you’ll want to head to the local food shop in Scraptoft, 15 minutes’ walk away. Leicester City Centre, of course, has a varied range of restaurants, shops and historical attractions. If you don’t fancy driving in, there’s a bus stop 10 minutes’ walk away that will get you there.
