  • Luxury glamping on a small working farm in rural Herefordshire
  • Ledbury 15 minutes’ drive; Wye Valley National Landscape half an hour
  • Shared kitchen and private-use showers with complimentary toiletries
Set on 92 acres of Herefordshire farmland, Hansnett Farm is a small, family-owned glampsite with stunning vistas across to the Black Mountains from the camping field. This is a peaceful, adults-only place 15 minutes’ drive of historic Ledbury, and luxury accommodation comes with barbecues, firepits and uninterrupted views of farmland grazed by pure-bred Shropshire sheep. A few steps across the camping field is a small covered kitchen kitted out with a large fridge-freezer, sink and storage area for the cooking paraphernalia. The building also houses exclusive-use and accessible luxury bathrooms with a supply of towels, soap, shampoos and conditioner. There are loads of footpaths to explore directly from your accommodation. Ledbury has a plethora of shops, cafés and pubs, and a little further afield is the cathedral city of Hereford, the beautiful Malvern Hills (both 25 minutes) and the Wye Valley National Landscape (half an hour). A pick-up service from public transport is available by prior arrangement, and there are recharging facilities for your devices.

Treehouse

Liked: Lovely quirky tree house, warm and cosy with a gorgeous separate shower room and kitchen area. Environmentally friendly shampoo/conditioner etc was provided along with fluffy towels so you don't need to bring much with you. There is toilet in the tree house for overnight use as well as the one in the shower room. A gas stove on an ingenious pull out cart provides your hot water for drinks etc plus there's a bbq outside for alfresco cooking. The bed was very comfortable and warm and with the window coverings up very dark, so I had a great nights sleep. There's no WiFi but if you don't want to escape the world 4g coverage was excellent but if you do, there are books, playing cards and a radio with good reception. It's close to Ledbury for shops/café's/ restaurants should you want some town life as well. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the fresh flowers and biscuits were much appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can't wait to visit again.

Disliked: Nothing!
Please note there is no WiFi but 4g was excellent, which is why I gave the WiFi 5 stars despite it being absent.
