What customers say
This well-kept site offers spacious, level spots & lovely woodland walks. Staff are frequently praised as friendly & helpful, as is the adjacent cafe & peaceful vibe. However, multiple guests note issues with toilet/shower facilities' adequacy & condition, especially when busy, & some report road noise.

Liked Size of pitch, closeness to Fairford Air Show.
Disliked Toilet, shower and dishwasher area. Not enough of any of them. Shower water runs into toilet next to it in both men's and ladies. Would be better with sperate shower blocks and toilet blocks.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Nice quiet site with helpful staff.
Disliked The misleading address. If you feed Seven Acres Road, Stroud into your SatNav you will find yourself down a very narrow little road miles away from the campsite, as I found out.

Pitches were nice and large

Liked The site could be nice and peaceful.
And the cafe was 10 out of 10 the food was freshly cooked . All staff worked hard keeping it clean and tidy and were very polite
Disliked The only thing I would mention is that when someone has a shower it runs all in the toilet cubicle.
And the road noises but you get used to it .
When site gets full at weekends sometimes you find yourself queuing for the toilet.

Liked Beautiful space!! Lovely and clean, peaceful, really relaxing and a cafe on site. Toilet roll and hand driers on site. Easy to navigate, check in etc.
Disliked Just very small suggestions - the toilets were slightly smelly, I think it was drains and the weather was nice but still not pleasant smell. Also being so close to the water station was so handy but if the shrubs could be cut back slightly for better and easier access to the water that would be great.
The only downside and I suppose it can not be helped, the road outside the campsite is quite a quick road. Not noisy and didn't struggle to sleep etc but not great Junction to get out of.

Liked Well kept site
Disliked Close to road , toilet and shower facilities not adequate when site is busy but clean and tidy. 1 shower and 2 Loos for ladies and men. Money opening a cafe woukd have been better spent on new facilities.

Liked Spaciousness and green. Lovely setting. Cafe and friendly staff.
Disliked Had trouble getting hot water from shower.
There is some road noise on other side of the hedge/ unavoidable.
It’s a little remote from many Cotswold villages but that was our fault!

Liked Was a beautiful site very large plots plenty of room, when we first got there thought the noise from the road would be a problem with the pitch being right next to the road but it wasn't, would definitely go back.
Disliked Wouldn't say it's a dislike but really could do with more toilets and showers.

Good overall site reasonable priced helpful owners clean facility
Powered grass campsite
Liked Natural field pretty flowers well manicured ground , clean shower and toilet
Disliked Barking dogs , next to a busy commuter road morning and evening traffic

Felt like an easy money grab for the owner with little effort taken.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Not much
Disliked Very poor quality.
No drain under fresh water tap so was boggy.
Not enough toilets/showers.
Single shower shared a floor with neighbouring toilet, so when shower in use toilet flooded.
Not greeted on site.
Right next to road so quite noisey.

From the manager: Dear Richard,
Thank you for your feedback. Your experience differs significantly from our typical guest reviews and the comprehensive pre-arrival information we provide.
All guests receive detailed pre-arrival emails, directions to your allocated pitch with map, text confirmation the evening before, and have access to 24-hour phone assistance and information boards on arrival. Our self-check-in process during our 1pm-dusk arrival window consistently receives positive feedback.
You visited during a busy bank holiday weekend at full capacity. As we've outlined in our emails, we're actively planning facility upgrades, though as a new independent business, the significant investment required means this will take time to implement. As new owners, the team and I work very hard to optimise the guest experience in any way possible, especially during peak periods when maximum capacity can of course cause frustration for some temporarily.
Regarding the volume of vehicles using the B4070, this is unfortunately beyond our control, though we appreciate it can occasionally impact the area's usual tranquillity.
We take all feedback seriously as we continue improving our offerings.
Best regards,
Anneka Hicks
