What customers say
Stunning views, relaxed vibe, clean facilities (showers/toilets praised). Excellent Peak District location for walkers. Spacious pitches. Mostly quiet, though some noise noted. Showers could be warmer/have more hooks. Great value, highly recommended.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The way you can just go & pitch up when you arrive & choosing where to go. Plenty of toilets, very clean, showers were great.
Disliked We had noisy people next to us until 4am!
As it was bank holiday & busy, tents were close together.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Clean, green and serene!
Very beautiful site and convenient location. Stayed with my family of four. We arrived during a very busy weekend. The campsite was bustling with people. However, there was ample space for everyone. The toilets were well equipped and very clean. The showers had hot water and were enough in number. The campsite was peaceful despite being full. The cafe at walking distance was an added bonus!
Highly recommend and hope to come back again.

Friendly people/staff
Relatively quiet but we were in one of the smaller fields
Disliked sinks in toilets too high for children
no hot water for hand washing or washing up dirty pots
Toilets blocked up quite quickly
Would benefit from a few more hooks to hang towels etc in showers/toilets
Some people pitched up like planks taking up a lot more room than paid for but this isn't really the control Of the campsite
