Liked: We took our new tent for a little test run for 2 nights. Lovely little campsite with toilets, washing up area and a shower. We absolutely loved the site and the fact it was a working farm. The lady owner was super friendly and really pleasant to chat to. We would definitely return.

Bell tent
Liked: This is a fabulous small, quiet site set on a working farm (cows) with stunning scenery. We stayed in the empty bell tent (to avoid taking home a wet tent) and it was amazing. There was a picnic bench and a fire pit to use and we were able to buy wood on site. There are 2 bell tents and about 6 pitches for tents. The facilities are great for an authentic camping experience - 2 toilets and a wash area with a sink and running water. If you like busy sites with shops:playground etc this is not for you. However it is fabulous for getting back to nature and plenty of space for the family to play. The host is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. She is meticulous in looking after her guests, ensuring the facilities are really clean at all times. There is a pub within walking distance and many places to visit nearby. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back 😊🏕️
Disliked: Nothing at all

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Dead easy to get to with sat nav, no hassle at all pitching up and plenty of space to play some games. Because there are almost no lights on the site the start gazing is amazing.
Disliked: Would have been helpful to have some lights in the toilets and shower. Also, wasn’t sure exactly where to go on arrival.
