Liked: The site is convenient for many places including Buxton, Bakewell and numerous walks. The facilities were spotless (though there were only two vans on the site).
Disliked: When the site is full (with 20+ vans) the facilities may be too limited, with only two washing-up sinks etc.

Liked: We have stayed here before it’s always been lovely. Super clean, stunning views and a great place to access local walks. The pub is lovely also.
Disliked: Extra fee for dogs and awnings as it’s already on the more expensive side of campsites. Also quite a late check in time, although it is fine to leave your car/van in the car park if you want to park up sooner.

Liked: A small adults-only site with stunning views. All pitches are hardstanding and have electric hook-up and water tap shared between two pitches. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well maintained. Having the pub/restaurant right next door gives a good option for dining, although it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The location is good for Buxton - there is a bus stop right outside if you don't want to drive - and you have many walking and cycling trails within easy reach. The helpful owner furnished me with a leaflet showing three suggested circular walks from the campsite.
Disliked: Quite an exposed location when the weather closes in.

Liked: The views were spectacular The food was very nice we had even g dinner and breakfast on the Sunday morning
Disliked: Having to wait until after 2 to get on to pitch, half your day has gone by the time we got settled If you have to leave for 11 you should be able to get on at 12 or the latest 1.00pm
