Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked: Space, bird song, peace. A quiet remote place catering for most of your needs. Lovely walks around.
Disliked: Not a dislike from me!! But there was a very large and noisy gathering of DOEA students. Quiet Once settled. Gone with the larks in the early morning.

Liked: The campsite was in a great location. A choice of 2 fields with plenty of space in both. Good facilities (toilets, kitchen and showers). Easy and quick check in at reception. There was a field for DofE but despite this being busy you couldn't hear any noise from there when you were set up.

Liked: Lovely view. Choice of where to pitch up. Owners on site at arrival. Close to both Bakewell and Buxton. Fairly clean toilets - lots of toilet paper! Fairly good phone signal.
Disliked: There is a charge for hot water in the washroom and the hot tap in the ladies toilets emits limited water.

Liked: I have stayed here a few times in the last 4 years, clean toilets and hot showers and also pay per person instead of per pitch. Nice quiet site and friendly hosts.
Disliked: Would like to see the grass cut more often as using the facilities after a rain shower is not a nice walk.
