Lovely clean & friendly site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Helpful & friendly. Good facilities & very clean. Lovely large fields & a kiddies play area if you have children. Shop on site is also the village store & well stocked.
We arrived for an autumn overnight stop on a windy day following a stormy night. We were given a pitch behind a large hedge so sheltered. Very impressed & would like to return in the summer for longer.

Liked The friendly staff at the farm shop booking in also, always clean showers and toilets. Well maintained site.
Disliked The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was there is new fencing and not able to access the dog poo bins that side, however there is another by the main gates.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review, Glad you enjoyed your stay, as someone who has been coming 20 years, things have progressed until the beginning of this last year the poo bin was always the general waste bin only on the hard standing area, there is now 4 bins around site, The new fencing is for a dog run so that people can let there dogs off the leads, this is another improvement for the site, and is still a working progress and one of the reasons that this work has been done out of main season. There is only certain times this sort of work can be done where the site is not too busy or too dry or wet for the work to be carried out, sorry you found this a inconvenience
