Powered grass site
Liked A quiet site, beautifully kept, friendly owner. Huge pitch area, close to ehu and drinking water taps. Picnic benches and chairs available next to the pitch, told we were able to use and move them as we needed. Children's play area and grassy space perfect for riding bikes, playing catch, making friends, our kids loves it. Dog friendly site, all dogs well behaved and cleaned up after. Clean, comfortable, well lit bathrooms with hot showers in spacious area with hooks and a seat, disco lights in the shower head which the kids loved.

Camping pod (five person)
Liked A very warm and friendly welcome, staff safety conscious in respect of the children (warned us about the open water and closed the site to vehicles 8pm-8am, the green area in the centre was purely for play) and helpful with site and local information.
Quiet site, road noise was minimal.
We received a lovely welcome gift with drinks and goodies, plus a starter box of fire wood and coal. My recommendation is take a small axe if you like to have a fire going. The logs were a generous size and we quickly ran out of kindling, an axe would have been handy.
Our pod was warm and toasty at night and the beds were very comfortable.
Disliked I wouldn't say we disliked anything but I would add that the shower and toilet and washing up facilities were quite basic and we were fortunate to be there at a quiet point in the week, I imagine only 2 showers in the ladies might get busy if the site were full.
Our pod could do with a decent sweep out under the beds.
