Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Huge flat field with decent facilities. It was easy to find and whilst the local roads got a bit narrow there was OK passing places. It was brilliantly located for Brecon and a great base to do Y Promenâd parkrun. Whilst one couple walked from the site we drove down and back. We really appreciated the ability to leave before 12:00 instead of having to rush in the morning, especially as we were there on a rainy morning. Despite there being a fair number of families there, because the field was so big there was lots of spaces between pitches. I would definitely go again if we want a stay in the area.

Liked An easy to find large, flat and easy to pitch field with decent basic facilities. It was a short drive to the local village where we went for a pub meal. We were one of two families on the campsite when we stayed so we had plenty of room. We phoned up to let the owner now we were there, but apart from that we had no other contact.

Liked Big, flat field with decent facilities although like others have said, only one male and one female toilet. The washing up sink had hot water 'on tap'. Easy to find with lots of drinking water taps dotted about the site. On the cheaper side so maybe that balances the smaller number of WCs. The kids enjoyed having the small play area to enjoy.
Disliked It may have been my pitch choice, or from a lack of rain recently, but the ground was super hard. It's a good job I had a heavy duty pitching hammer and some spare pegs so I could swap out the ones that ended up bent. I'd recommend being prepared if that's a regular occurrence here. Whilst there were lots of signs asking for dog owners to clean up after their pet, I only realised after we'd pitched that at least one owner hadn't bothered near to us and the filled poop bag was still there next morning.

Liked A really nice welcome from the owner with clear info on where to pitch and the facilities available. The hot water was hot and the tap in the farm yard filled up our water bottles quick. The field was really flat, the ground comfortable and easy to pitch on and it wasn't too far a walk to the facilities from our tent.
Disliked There was a few flies about but it's a working farm so they were expected and easily coped with.

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Really nice site with good facilities. The field for tents was huge and, probably due to when we visited, we were the only tent on it. It has a gentle slope but I'd guess there's plenty of pitching options which means it's not a problem. The view across to the beach and sea was lovely. The facilities were a few mins walk away but that wasn't a problem as we could park next to our tent. Whilst the most immediate roads were narrow it was well located with good road links close by.
Disliked The instruction that you should take nearly all of your rubbish home. I'd hope when you're paying to use a site that it should include the acceptance of a small amount of rubbish in the bins.
