Unpowered grass site
Liked Open space at the pub. Food at the pub. Amazing customer service. I messed up the booking and they helped me beyond expectations. Thank you.
Disliked Small family camp area with lots of people. Sloped ground. Family site right next to groups so we had very loud music until midnight, swearing etc
Mens toilet and shower facilities were very poor

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Adequate space for car and gazebo. Not bothered by staff.
Disliked No response from emails sent
Told us to keep noise strictly to a minimum, but didn't mention loud music from two pubs either side of the fields. So loud you can hear the words.
The ground was appalling for camping, 4cm down it's layered with bricks. You can't get tent pegs in. It broke every peg we brought.
No place to put your rubbish or recycling.
Farm was small and disappointing.
Very close to air port so expect low flying planes noisy throughout the night.

From the manager: Hi Liane, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you appreciated the space on your pitch and the relaxed approach from our team during your stay. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the site were not what you expected. We do monitor our inbox daily and unfortunately cannot find any emails received from you, though we appreciate this may have been frustrating at the time. We are also sorry to hear that the music disturbed your stay. The music you could hear was coming from an off-site venue in the village rather than from our campsite itself. We are really sorry to hear you were so disturbed by planes going overhead. They don’t come over all the time, but do pass overhead when the wind is coming from the west. As we are around 20 miles from Luton Airport they are normally not too loud, although they can be heard more on still days. Regarding the ground conditions, some areas of the field can naturally be firmer than others depending on weather conditions and pitch location, although we are sorry to hear this caused difficulties with your tent pegs during your stay. We do appreciate all feedback and will take your comments on board as we continue to improve the experience for our guests.

Liked Everything.
Mike is such a great host, great with the kids, available routinely throughout the stay, always has what you need.
Safe for my boys (3 and 6), they're safe and can play without me having to keep them still or quiet.
10pm quiet time which is great.
Disliked If I was forced to pick.... close to the airport but not close to anything else. If you forget to pack something you'll need to drive a distance to get anything. But that's also a positive thing too. Its a great place.

Power optional grass tent or motorhome site

Clean.
Bins and recycling
Toilets lovely, clean, close to all tents
Contactable on phone
Close to shops and pub
Pretty site
Pre determined sites for campers
Lovely big space (plot 3) for our family.
Disliked Very quiet. Our two young boys are well behaved but love being loud and I felt bad on other campers.
Small with little privacy.
Next to a busy road, under aeroplane route
Some thistles under foot, have to keep shoes on all the time.
1000 flies immediately in the tent, tempted maybe by the apples fallen from the trees.

Liked Flat - ish land. Owner was friendly and accommodating. Fire drums. Safe for the kids to play. Toilets were lovely. Occasionally warm water for washing up.
Disliked Fridge was a long walk away so we didn't use it.
