Great location for exploring Bromyard. Spaceous…

Aug 2026

Liked Great location for exploring Bromyard. Spaceous pitches that are nice and flat. The campsite and area are peaceful, there are plenty of lovely walks nearby and a couple of local pubs. The owner James is really friendly and helpful. He was there to greet us on arrival and had provided a map so we could walk safely to the pub on Bringsty Common instead of trying to do an unsafe walk along the A44. He went above and beyond to help us which was appreciated.

Disliked No Elsan point. We would have used the loo in our motorhome to save other people having to queue if there was chemical disposal available. This may also have meant that loo roll didn't run out. To be fair it doesn't say in the site description that there is elsan available - I will check properly in future. I'm just so used to it being available I didn't think.

Lovely campsite, helpful owners, plenty to do in local area

Jul 2026

Liked Lovely peaceful campsite, a great base to explore Wells and the local areas from. Nice spaceous pitches so you don't feel on top of your camping neighbours. Really easy check in process - a text with all the details you need sent in advance so you can just show up, choose a pitch and get on with it. The owners are really friendly, helpful and quick to respond if you need them. I tripped our electric (my fault, nothing to do with the campsite) and when we couldn't get it working again Ryan came out of his way to come and help us sort it. The campsite is close to the Wells and Walsingham light railway - you can flag it down just over the road from the campsite. Also close to the 36 bus stop if you don't feel like walking into Wells. Most importantly, the local pub (The Three Horseshoes) is great, only a 20 minute walk away.

Disliked Nothing

Fab site, lots of space, clean facilities - and pizza!

May 2024

Liked Handy text on day of arrival with all the information needed. Site has plenty of space and good, clean facilities. Love the onsite pizza bar and cafe. Short walk to Tanworth-in-Arden if you fancy a drink at The Bell pub too.

Disliked The showers are great (none of that press stop tap nonsense) however, it's difficult to tell if someone is using them. The red mark to show they are engaged doesn't move into position. Meaning you have to gamble on whether you're going to break in on someone when you use the code lock to open the door. It wouldn't put me off coming again, just adding this here so the owners can fix it.
