Liked So peaceful and a lovely view. Toilets were clean and shower was too.
Who needs a tv when the cows keep you amoooosed!
The three horseshoes is a 15 min walk and the carvery was lovely, again great views to be had in the back garden.
Disliked As a solo traveler I had no problem with there being only 1 shower and there is a booking system in place so just be mindful of this if you are a family.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, much appreciated - love the photos & captions, particularly the escapee cow ones

Liked Absolutely perfect! So peaceful and clean with just wonderful views from any part of the field.
There was only 1 other camper there so you really could appreciate the tranquility. Walk to the pub was easy with fields of cows and sheep noisily grazing 🙂
The pub was a fab village pub that locals and walkers happily sat outside with a drink and good food.
Owner was friendly and easy to check in on the phone so totally recommend a visit.

Liked The morning swims before everyone wakes up! The choice of woods and shaded areas for a bit of reading and respite from the sun 🙂
Staff were super helpful and as a lone traveler I felt totally at ease there.

Liked Perfect and peaceful even with other campers here. There was a group of DofE here but still all the facilities were well maintained and adequate for me 😊. There a local pub a 15 min walk down the lane with an honesty shop and the food was lovely too.
