Unpowered grass site
Liked I chose this site due to the views and previous reviews. As a lone female traveller it can be quite daunting but as soon as I pulled up and met the owner I was immediately at ease. He explained all the levels and the wind situation. He even invited me to the communal fire pit for a sing song.
The site is huge, lots of space. You need your own drinking water, and the toilets are a composting toilet in a shed. Not for the faint hearted but wonderfully clean and fresh. I was made to feel very welcome and loved every minute. There was also a food van that was very popular.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Liked We really enjoyed our stay. The site was clean and tidy. The toilet block and washing up area was immaculate. The children loved the animals and the tuck shop. Wonderful campsite.

Liked This site was perfect for a quick stop over. Perfectly described on the website. Received a text from the owner to advise on entrance location . This was very helpful. The view was stunning. 10/10 Added surprise to see a beautiful parrot flying over from the neighbours. A wonderful sight to see. Toilets were clean and checked regularly. Site owner came round and checked everything was going ok. As a solo female this was very reassuring. Thanks Sophie
