Disliked The road leading up to the site is not maintained (sorry to say) so it’s a bit bumpy to say the least. This site due to recent rainfall was tricky to access in my motorhome. But to be fair I would come back in the summer.

We added two passing places, levelled the track to reduce potholes, and laid chalk at the entrance to the field gate. That said, you’re absolutely right that it is still very bumpy. Please be reassured that we’re committed to further improvements over this winter, with plans for additional and larger passing places as well as a more solid track surface and a surface at the top of the hill to assist access after persistent bad weather. Disliked The dog faeces on our pitch that greeted us. The constant noise and shouting from the teenagers / young adults. This is a site clearly made for the 18-30’s crowd. And not peaceful of relaxing. And 8 days after I emailed the site and still no reply which completely sums up this site. The site resembled Glastonbury the day after it finishes. What a disgusting place. I would not recommend this site to anyone even my ex wife.

Disliked There is no shop as such just a few bottles of wine and expensive crisps. You have to pre order bread and croissants for the next day. Which is fine for long stays. But not much help for overnight stays.

From the manager: Hello Mr Spring, We are sorry to read that you had a bad stay. However, it is difficult to form an opinion based on a stay of only one night. Why didn't you come and talk to us about the dog excrement? We could have taken action and/or offered you another pitch. Regarding the children, we have to remind you that our campsite is a family campsite and that during the summer season, it is normal to see and hear children. We did not receive any email from you. Perhaps it would have been better to come and talk to us and share your opinion! Come back in the low season, where you will find the peace and relaxation you were looking for!

Liked The location was fantastic. The wine and cellars are incredible. The price is also amazing.

Liked Just a lovely site. There are pitches / fields that seem to go on forever.

Liked Really nice site, the facilities are always clean and well presented, and the staff are always there the help. Would I go again? Definitely!
