Disliked We went in high season so to be expected - pitches were very small and cramped together. Poor phone signal (not their fault) but WiFi was shaky.

Liked Peaceful, chilled, friendly site. Animals everywhere , and such a nice owner. We were lucky enough to be able To share a bbq evening - just brilliant.

Liked Calm, friendly welcome. Nothing too Much trouble. Just the way camping should be. The site is clean, flat and the pitches are large. The atmosphere is chilled, and it feels like home. It is quiet and small - no pretence and no faff.

Liked If you are looking for something 2 hours from the ferry - don’t bother trying to find one on the seafront - you here - it’s brilliant

Liked Cannot comment on the site as we were unable to go due to wildfires . BUT owners kept us fully informed and provided a prompt and full refund when they had to close. Excellent service in the circumstances

Liked Very good facilities - including toilets, massive washing area, bar, small shop. Cheap bar. Great pools and grass sun terrace areas. Pitch was flat and decent size.

Disliked Lots of well established trees make for decent shade, but a bit of a faff to negotiate a big van in to. We happened to visit when Berceo was hosting a thrash metal concert. 😂

Liked You couldn’t be closer to the river . Literally pitched on the bank. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Large flat pitches, unfussy organisation. Great little pool and a centre for kayaking.

Disliked It’s not a campsite - it’s a lovely ‘aire de camping-car’ in all honestly. Small pitches on tarmac but v functional and great if you are passing through. Definite one-nighter.
