Liked Nice site. Clean. Large group near us very disrespectful left early evening & left behind a great pile of rubbbish it was quickly cleared away. Great location to Tenby walking along beach or by bus. Friendly & helpful staff Pub in village lovely & the new Overlander across road good food

Disliked The pitches were on slopes even with blocks still not level. Facilities were generally clean jut needs more toilet blocks. The field we were in had 2 blocks but they were shower & toilet units so had to wait or walk into other field if just needed the loo.

Liked Big pitches Good facilities - although shop is limited. Great views of the lake Clean toilet & shower facilities Food in restaurants was good Good size pool area It’s a 45 mins walk into Salò - with a very steep hill back up to resort from the road. Worth the walk & plenty of beach.bathing areas to get in to the lake. This is a family resort so quite a bit of noise from children. Would recommend booking a camping pitch that has one of the personal pods - own bathroom, fridge & wash up facilities.

Liked Good size spaces Tram stop 2 mins away Friendly, helpful staff. This is just a parking spot really for the price & location to get to Monza perfect location. Lidl across the road. Clean toilets & shower block on offer No thrills but did what we needed

Disliked Just a need to know really not a dislike there is no paper or soap in toilets remember to take it with you

Liked Superb location on the lake with a small beach area. Has good size pitches. Nice bar area. Toilets & showers were clean but no hand drying facility in site toilets It’s a walk into Arona of 50 mins. Lovely town & boat trip to 3 islands is great (maggiore express is on limited days so check before booking) Baveno is worth a visit. Isle Madre is only gardens & you have to pay to enter if you don’t there is nothing to do. Isle Bella must better stop off

Disliked Little info re getting into town on public transport so unless you have car or happy to walk not much to do (we were in motorhome)

Liked Great social distancing Fab amenities - clean, well kept Wonderful rural location, great views and Riddings Wood walks Highly recommend a visit to the Thack (Moulders Arms) in the village - only thatch pub in Derbyshire - very friendly team.

Disliked It is on a hilly so getting the right position to not be on a slope can be testy - but you’ll work it out

Liked Owners were fantastically friendly and helpful. It was a relaxed site. Pub at top of lane lovely & welcoming. Rural site. No strict rules. Easy to walk into Bawtry.

Disliked Toilets were being refurbished (which was needed) but left men’s closed all weekend and sharing ladies - would have liked to have been informed prior to visit. Was very busy given current situation, making social distancing difficult - in other circumstances would not have bothered us.

Liked Sue and her Dad couldn’t have been friendly and more helpful. Clean toilet & shower blocks. Great location to visit Holmfirth and the local Vineyard.

Disliked Not the owner fault but it was a wet & windy weekend and the site is quite exposed the elements.

Liked Good large sites. Quiet, rural location. New, clean shower/toilet blocks. Helpful sheet of local coffee laces to visit provided in check in. Friendly family run site.

Disliked Nothing but as the showers are a wet room be useful to have a floor squidgy in each shower room to dry a section of the floor when getting dried/dressed.

Liked Lovely quiet site. Super on site shop - try the home made cakes - yummy Fabulous location Great Longstone is a gorgeous village with great pubs (food & drinks) Easy to get on Monday trail up to Monsal Head and an hour to Bakewell

Liked This is a lovely, small site. It is quiet and has a lovely play park and activity park. Short walk into Hatfield across the Jubilee Park where there are a few shops, a well stocked Tesco express and good pubs (Ingram Arms and Bay Horse). Short drive to Bawtry which is a lovely village.

Disliked The toilet facilities leave a lot to be desired - didn't appear to get cleaned all weekend. The impression that the campsite is lakeside but it is all fenced off and only accessible through the reception.

Liked the location - very rural yet only minutes from Alfreton the shower blocks - clean, new, fresh, warm showers - luxury for a campsite the manager - Mark was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful village pub - quaint a great weekend and I'm sure once word gets out it will be a busy site, looking forward to coming back and seeing the play area and exploring the forest next door.
