Liked There’s only 5 pitches so a small site, but perfect. Each pitch is roped off which I like and there is a placard with your name on to show which is your pitch. No messing about trying to find it. The toilets & showers are well maintained and clean. It’s the best shower room I’ve seen. And I’ve been camping 30 odd years! Working farm so you have chickens wondering about and they are quite vocal 😂 all part of camping. It’s near the road but can honestly say we weren’t bothered by traffic. Think it would be perfect adult only site

Disliked No picking here! There is a step to the toilets but an additional little step which isn’t obvious and in the dark is a bit tricky.

Liked The peace and quiet. It’s not a huge site, about 16 pitches and it’s adults only. The pitches were flat and decent size. The owners were welcoming & informative. There was every you needed, basic but adequate. The sunsets are stunning, they really are beautiful

Disliked It’s not really a dislike, the toilet and showers facilities although clean and well maintenances I think maybe a couple more would be beneficial. I think 3 toilets and 2 showers is a bit low. That said I know the owner now has planning permission to build toilet and showers facilities.

Liked Everything. The staff were helpful and polite. The toilets and showers were spotless and plenty full. The showers were lovely and hot. Pitches are large so plenty room for larger tents.

Disliked Arrive early if you want a big choice of pitches we arrived at 6pm and had a choice of two.

Liked The peacefulness and the views, they were stunning. The pod served its purpose for a nights sleep and the space around the pod was huge ! Between Whitby and Scarborough which is an ideal base

Disliked Recommend you take your sleeping bag rather than a quilt cover. I think previous guests had allowed their dog to sleep on the quilt. Cover with dogs hairs.

Liked It was perfect, basic but with a fridge kettle toaster microwave & heater which were fabulous. The views from the door were amazing, and it was so so quiet.facilities were clean and well stocked.

Disliked Loo’s are a bit far, it’s not a major issue.

Liked Everything. There were so many little touches all over. A herb garden for guest use, fridge freezer and microwave to use in the wash up area. The toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy The pitch we had was huge, very private. A well lit walkway to the WC’s using PIR lighting so didn’t keep you awake. The warden’s were fantastic. So informative and friendly, you can clearly see they love their jobs and take pride in it.

Liked Close to quite a few villages, quite site which was so relaxing. The lady on reception was an absolute gem.
