Liked Modern and immaculately clean facilites. Great view. Plots are high up and exposed which is great for the view but it was very windy the night we stayed! Fabulous when the sun was shining though. Friendly staff. Site very clean and tidy, lots of bins.

Liked Lovely spacious site, large plots with children's play area in the middle. Really great washrooms, modern, clean and tidy. Big shower cubicles. Very friendly and helpful welcome. Fish and chip van (Tuesday evening) and coffee van (Wednesday. morning) with fresh ground coffee and pastries.

Liked Location. Large site well-managed. Large pitches. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights. Saturday was busy and the ladies' washroom showed signs of heavy use. Sunday, things quietened down. The facilities were cleaned beautifully and stayed much cleaner. The hanging baskets are wonderful. We asked to move pitch and that was readily accommodated.

Liked Friendly welcome. We booked the last available pitch on the site so it was tucked away in a corner but shady and quiet so quite happy. Site still had a calm, family atmosphere even though it was full. I think I read in the earlier reviews that the washrooms were to be upgraded. This would really improve them as they do look a bit jaded. The showers, however, are lovely and hot and you don't have to keep pressing them on! Only stayed one night but we will be back!

Liked Large paddock with generous plots, maintained well. We stayed Monday to Thursday, only 4 or 5 plots in use so lovely and quiet. Toilets and showers very clean. Hot water plentiful. Owners very friendly. We arrived early and they were happy for us to set up.

Liked Small, quiet site behind the pub. Well looked-after. Toilets and showers clean. There were only 2 plots being used, not sure how 2 toilets and 2 showers would cope if the site was full! The light goes off automatically very quickly so you do end up showering in the dark!

Liked Fantastic Location: Hard to believe it's right on the edge of town, thanks to a beautiful half-mile green buffer zone. Great Value: Very reasonably priced.

Disliked Crowded & Overpopulated: The site's popularity means it quickly feels packed and overcrowded. Poorly Maintained Facilities: Toilets were dirty by late Saturday afternoon. Showers lacked squeegees for self-cleaning and were quite dirty by Sunday morning. Inadequate Recycling: Overflowing recycling bins led to littering, forcing staff to move plastics into general waste. A sad indictment as to the kind of campers here…as they should have put stuff in the nearest bin instead of leaving on the floor. Unclear Pitch Boundaries: Without well-defined areas, early arrivals took up excessive space, leaving latecomers cramped and constrained.

Liked A small site in a pretty, quiet, rural setting, I think about 6 generous tourer pitches and some static caravans. All have EHU and a tap. Fabulous tall pine trees. A lovely relaxed ambience. Wash facilities had hot continuous showers and there was hot water for dish-washing too. Everything clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again and would have stayed longer had we not already booked elsewhere for the next night.

Liked We had a very warm welcome to this beautiful site. Amazing views, nice and quiet. Grass pitches spacious and well-tended. Lovely clean toilet block with super hot showers. All facilities are good. Coffee, homemade cakes, and huge selection of ice cream available. Nice dog walk beside the site. We will be back!

Liked Really well-maintained site, pitches large, flat, and kept neat. Friendly welcome, shown to area we could choose a pitch. Lovely and quiet. Facilities very clean, warm and spacious. On Wednesdays there is a motorbike gathering which was noisy for a while in the evening. Otherwise we really enjoyed staying there, stayed an extra night and would definitely stay again.

Liked Big pitches, great atmosphere. Although it feels very laid back, Mark works constantly to keep everything in order and make sure everyone has what they need. Bar, pizza kitchen and coffee/breakfast bar great facilities. We had a warm welcome and recommended a good pitch for us. Toilet and shower facilities basic but clean and warm.

Liked Generous pitches with grassed areas between. Beautifully maintained. Friendly bar in the house. Facilities clean, hot water for showers and washing up. Attractive site with plenty to walk around.

Liked Lovely big plots with gravel and grassed areas, beautifully maintained. Lovely views, plenty of land to walk around. Friendly bar in the house. Clean toilet and washing up facilities. Friendly atmosphere.

Disliked Toilet facilities limited. It was very quiet during our visit but I would imagine if the tent field was busy two female toilets maybe wouldn't be enough.

Liked Great atmosphere here. Plots are quite close together but people mingled well, sitting on the grass eating pizza and drinking cider on Friday evening. We loved watching the light aircraft taking off, very exciting. Everyone very friendly.

Disliked Toilet and shower facilities a bit tired, could do with upgrading.

Liked A real gem of a site! We loved staying here, plots are large and beautifully maintained. The grassed area with picnic table in the middle is great to sit in the sun and meet fellow campers. Friendly welcome and no problem with adding an extra night. Great facilities.
