We're pleased to hear you appreciated our location and the excellent bus service to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, although we're sorry that you found the background noise particularly noticeable during your one-night stay. We do feel it's important to clarify for anyone considering a stay with us that we're very open about our location. Briarfields is situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester, close to the main road network and Gloucestershire Airport, and this is clearly described throughout our park information and booking descriptions. We also specifically advise guests that some traffic and light aircraft noise can be heard at times. We provide this information before booking precisely because we want prospective guests to understand our setting and decide whether it's right for them. We're not a remote rural campsite; one of Briarfields' biggest advantages is its incredibly convenient location, with Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Cotswolds, the M5, cycle routes and regular public transport all exceptionally easy to access. We completely appreciate that sensitivity to background noise varies enormously. Many of our guests tell us they barely notice it, while others are naturally more sensitive to it, and we fully respect that. We wish you well in your future travels. L’absence de lunettes sur certains WC est un choix d’hygiène, fréquent dans les campings. Nous prenons néanmoins en compte vos remarques.

Liked Lots of space. Quiet neighbourhood. Great location for walking in the Malvern hills.

Disliked Portaloos. Showers and toilets were a long walk away (approx 0.5 miles both ways).

We note you booked Non-electric grass pitch (basic) We have just checked on pitchup and they clearly stated Please note that these pitches don't have access to the site's toilet and shower facilities. Chemical toilets are available. Sorry if you hadnt read the above on pitch up we have checked this morning and it says it. Also the distance from the far end of the field to the ablution block is 0.2. miles so round trip would be 0.4 miles. unfortunately you were 1 of many that read the general facilities of Berrends Farm and not the facilities available for the pitch type you paid for.

Liked Quiet, basic campsite in a fabulous location for exploring the Cotswolds. Well equipped shop and great pub in close walking distance. Showers and toilets were spotless throughout our trip. Decided to stay an extra night as we had such a good time.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.
