What customers say
Spacious sites, great facilities, and stunning mountain views are highlights. Some issues noted with power points and showers, plus limited loos lower down. Adventure park costs and restaurant closures disappointed some. Unstable Wi-Fi.

Great location, but cramped pitches. Wouldn't return or recommend.
Powered grass and earth tent or motorhome site (medium)
Liked The location is without doubt the best thing about HolaCamp Arán Aventura. It is in a fantastic setting in the Pyrenees, right beside the River Garona, surrounded by mountains, and there is plenty to explore without having to move the motorhome.
Les is a lovely little town and was probably only seven or eight minutes on foot from us, or a couple of minutes on the bikes. There are a few shops, hotels, bars and restaurants and a lovely river running through it. Definitely worth a wander.
A little further on is Supermercado Boya. It is a large supermarket that seems geared towards bulk buying, with everything from meat, fruit and vegetables to wine and household goods. There is also a large perfumery, a small clothes shop, cafe and petrol station on the same complex. When we visited, the petrol station had huge queues and there were lots of French vehicles around. Fuel was considerably cheaper than we had recently paid in France, so that probably explained the popularity.
We actually carried on cycling from there and crossed the border into France, which made for a great day out.
Going in the opposite direction from the campsite there is a lovely rural riverside trail towards Bossòst. Bossòst has a much better selection of shops, restaurants and places to stop, including somewhere to buy fresh bread. The ride itself was one of the highlights of our stay, following the river through the countryside with caves, woodland and information boards about the local wildlife.
Reception was also very good. The lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful. When our original pitch was completely unsuitable for our motorhome, she moved us without any argument or fuss, which we really appreciated.
For younger children the campsite has plenty going for it, with a play area, volleyball and other activities, and there was certainly plenty happening around the site.
Disliked Unfortunately, the touring pitches were a major disappointment.
Our original pitch, which I think was B1, was extremely small, on a very steep slope and had a communal water point almost in the middle of it. It was also beside the children's play area. With a motorhome approximately 7.5 metres long, it was physically impossible to manoeuvre onto the pitch properly because there simply was not enough room in the roadway in front.
We were moved to a flatter pitch, which was better, but still extremely small. I actually measured it and it was approximately 6 metres by 9 metres, so 54 square metres, rather than the 70 square metres we had been expecting. The pitches are packed very tightly together and we felt a bit like sardines.
Our second pitch was immediately beside the car park and entrance barrier, so vehicles were coming and going within a few feet of us throughout the day. It was also at the end of the zip line, so people were regularly arriving directly beside our pitch.
The other major disappointment was the toilet and shower block. From our pitch it could hardly have been further away, right at the top of a fairly steep campsite, so every visit to the toilet, showers or washing up area involved a considerable walk uphill.
At first glance the facilities looked reasonably modern, with plenty of showers, toilets and basins. Unfortunately, after using them for three days it became obvious that they were very poorly maintained. Several showers and toilets were out of order, a number of doors did not lock properly and the water pressure in the showers was dreadful. The showers use push buttons and the water often just spluttered out. On our final day the water stopped completely while I was trying to shower. That simply is not good enough and is something the campsite really needs to address.
The bar and restaurant appeared to open mainly in the evening. We did not use it as we cooked ourselves, although the area looked clean and tidy.
Overall, fantastic location, lovely surrounding area and very helpful reception staff, but badly let down by tiny touring pitches and poor shower and toilet facilities. With better maintained washrooms and more realistic information about pitch sizes, this could be a much better campsite.

Liked Mountain views from the site (especially from the pool). Sanitary facilities. Short and pleasant walk into the charming Les. WiFi included (but unstable).
Disliked Some of pitches were small and sloped. Pitch Up claims that English is spoken but that proved not to be the case at Reception.

Powered grass and earth tent or motorhome site (medium)

Volveremos!

Estancia muy agradable
Powered grass and earth tent or motorhome site (medium)
Gracias
