Gorgeous views, friendly people, plenty of peace and quiet… and all a mere 20-minute drive from Ljubljana. The list of selling points for Mažijev Grič is a lengthy one indeed – and there’s more to add to the above. The pitches at this Upper Carniola site are easily accessed from the motorway, and yet this is a place that’s all about the natural setting. Just outside the little village of Gradišče pri Lukovici, it’s got fabulous views over neighbouring Lake Gradišče, with lake access about 100 metres away for fishing, wild swimming and launching any paddleboards you may have brought along. The lake may well be the focal point, but the scenery in general is rather splendid around here – everywhere you look there are lovely green hills and pastures, and there’s often a fair amount of wildlife to spot while you hike or ride bikes in the local area. It all adds up to a fantastic place to relax in rural surroundings – and if it sounds like the kind of place that your dog might also appreciate, you’ll be pleased to hear that four-legged guests are welcome on site. Such a pretty setting deserves to be preserved as much as possible, of course, so this site aims to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. With that in mind, the facilities here are fairly simple, but you’ll have access to toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a motorhome service point, and can buy a few items of local produce.

Liked Tolle Lage, man ist ganz für sich, super Gassirunden, Lebensmittelgeschäft schnell erreichbar (5 Minuten mit dem Rad), WC und Dusche sehr einfach aber sauber, alles auf Natur

Liked Beautiful setting, large pitches, extremely relaxing. Lovely 5km walk around the lake and a lovely rustic bar for a relaxing drink.

Disliked The portakabin toilets were dreadful. The eco, long-drop one was fine.

Liked Top Lage, wirklich kann, man hier die Ruhe genießen. Ausstattung was man benötigt. Toilette und Dusche vorhanden. Strom in Jeder Buchte!

Liked La tranquilidad de la zona, del camping y el lago. Además de la ubicación, cerca de muchos lugares de interés.

Disliked Los baños del camping son infrahumanos, nosotros íbamos con autocaravana y menos mal que no los utilizamos. Eran tipo policlean sin tapa con todos los excrementos de diferentes personas al aire, no tienen cisterna. Las duchas son rústicas pero tienen su encanto, pero no hay agua caliente y por la noche refresca y no te puedes duchar. No recomiendo este camping a las personas que van con tienda.

Disliked Un seul toilette sèche pour tout le camping. Deux toilettes chimiques plein à ras bord, impossible d'y aller !
Pas d'électricité ni eau à chaque terrasse d'emplacements.
Pas de passage du propriétaire, tout se fait via internet.
Douche à l'eau froide avec interdiction du savon...

Liked Tutto molto pratico, non c è reception. Ti piazzi dove preferisci e ti attacchi in autonomia alla corrente. Il giorno dopo la partenza è arrivata via mail la fattura.
Niente giri di contanti, tutto veloce e pratico. Super smart.
Location in un posto veramente tranquillo, silenzioso, in mezzo alla natura e con gli animali della proprieta’ proprio a due passo.

Disliked Non hanno veri e propri bagni (ad accezione di bagni chimici) ma forse è il bello di questo posto.

Liked Beautiful scenery ashore a like in the middle of the woods.
Very uncomplicated handling.
Close to the capital and hiking routes.
Would come again for a couple of nights.

Disliked The sanitaries: Only one eco WC and two Dixie toilets which were unfortunately not emptied and cleaned regularly. The showers were neatly designed, but with only cold water. No problem with hot summer weather, but chilly in other seasons.
