Gorgeous views, friendly people, plenty of peace and quiet… and all a mere 20-minute drive from Ljubljana. The list of selling points for Mažijev Grič is a lengthy one indeed – and there’s more to add to the above. The pitches at this Upper Carniola site are easily accessed from the motorway, and yet this is a place that’s all about the natural setting. Just outside the little village of Gradišče pri Lukovici, it’s got fabulous views over neighbouring Lake Gradišče, with lake access about 100 metres away for fishing, wild swimming and launching any paddleboards you may have brought along. The lake may well be the focal point, but the scenery in general is rather splendid around here – everywhere you look there are lovely green hills and pastures, and there’s often a fair amount of wildlife to spot while you hike or ride bikes in the local area. It all adds up to a fantastic place to relax in rural surroundings – and if it sounds like the kind of place that your dog might also appreciate, you’ll be pleased to hear that four-legged guests are welcome on site. Such a pretty setting deserves to be preserved as much as possible, of course, so this site aims to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. With that in mind, the facilities here are fairly simple, but you’ll have access to toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a motorhome service point, and can buy a few items of local produce.

Liked Gute Preis - Leistung.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Stellplätze sind terrassenförmig errichtet mit Blick auf den See. Eine Dusche war schön warm. Es wird gebeten, kein Shampoo zu benutzen, da es sich um Natur-Duschen handelt. Wir waren mit dem Wohnwagen dort für 3 Tage, um Ljubljana zu besichtigen.

Disliked Die Preise für die Häuschen finde ich im Vergleich zu den Stellplätzen etwas teuer. Natürlich hat man hier mehr Luxus mit Bad und Küche.

Liked Beautiful setting, large pitches, extremely relaxing. Lovely 5km walk around the lake and a lovely rustic bar for a relaxing drink.

Disliked The portakabin toilets were dreadful. The eco, long-drop one was fine.
