Want to be completely surrounded by gorgeous greenery during your Umbria break, but also well connected so you can get out and explore easily? Sounds like you need to take a look at Umbria Verde, a quiet spot in the grounds of a detached country house that also happens to be just a few minutes’ drive from the E45.
That makes this site a great option for a stopover on a long cross-country journey or for a longer break spent exploring this attractive area. Mountain bikes are available for excursions into the nearby mountains, there are plenty of walking trails around and it’s a short drive to popular tourist spots like Spoleto and Assisi or more local towns like Todi and Terni. Waterfalls, vineyards and historic sights are also scattered around the area, so you should never be short of something to do.
Back on site, there are all sorts of handy facilities including toilets, showers, wifi, a barbecue area and a shared fridge and freezer. Guests are also welcome to use the house’s relaxation area, which has a private bathroom, fitness room and table tennis as well as indoor and outdoor fireplaces. As for local amenities, there’s a village bar 20 minutes’ walk away and Acquasparta (five minutes’ drive) has shops and places to eat.

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
