What customers say

Superb, peaceful site near Broad Haven beach. Clean facilities, friendly owners, great value. Lots of space, relaxed vibe for families & dogs. Showers need £1 coins, can get busy.

Unpowered grass site

Liked We spent 2 nights here on August Bank Holiday weekend. The site was clean, quiet. and spacious - even with an influx of new people on the Saturday.
It was great to be able to take the dog and easily walk down to Broadhaven beach.
The sunset views were amazing too!
Toilets and showers were clean and accessible.

Disliked The original toilet block has now been made a female only one - with the men’s being 2 portaloos, so the men of my tent were a bit miffed. They were still clean though.

Liked The campsite is beautiful and very nicely located to broad haven beach .
We originally booked for a week but unfortunately had to leave in a rapid hurry not long after getting there due my partner health taking a toll for the worst ,so I hope that if the owners read this ,please know it was nothing to do with the stay. We would definitely return and would take the original advise from the owner to use the field further back as little ones can run around safely away from the entrance

Disliked there’s nothing to dislike if your an avid camper you know what to expect based on your accommodation preferences

Liked Owner was really friendly, came round to introduce herself one evening and made an effort to see who has arrived each day. Toilets were small but cleaned each day and the showers were always kept nice and clean. Rubbish disposal clearly marked out.
Freedom to pitch wherever we liked and lots of open space to choose from, there can be several sloped sections so just be wary of where you are pitching.

Disliked No fault of the owner, but facilities could be easily overwhelmed depending on site business, but overall a great site.

Local attractions

Whatever flavour of beach day you favour, there’s likely to be something to suit along this stretch of Pembrokeshire coast. Paddles and sandcastles are the order of the day at Broad Haven beach, and there’s more of the same at Marloes Sands (20 minutes’ drive), along with rockpools and a shipwreck to seek out (climb over the rocks at low tide to see if you can spot the prop shaft poking out of the ground at Albion Sands). Surf types flock to the waves of Newgale (20 minutes) and Whitesands (35 minutes); sea kayaks can be hired at both for those who’d prefer to paddle along the coastline. Nolton Stables (10 minutes) is the place for both beginner riding lessons and surfside cantering, and various outfits in St Davids (half an hour) can hook you up with aquatic adventures like coasteering and paddleboarding. St Davids is a fab place for a more gentle wander too (the cathedral and Bishop’s Palace are both worth a look), and is the jumping-off point for boat trips to Grassholm and Ramsey islands – keep your peepers peeled for whales, dolphins, seals and puffins, depending on the time of year.
