Uwch Glan Farm

Liked Loved being able to check in any time as we travelled from North Yorkshire after work. Also checking out anytime meant that we didn’t have to rush. Several reviews mentioned only one shower, however even staying over a bank holiday in August we didn’t have to queue once. There is a second toilet around the corner. Both of which were well maintained, and clean (when the person before you bothered to rinse the shower and mop the floor!)

Liked We enjoyed our holiday to Harlech and had a great time camping with our family. The owner was lovely but some things about the site did let it down.

The views were amazing overlooking the sea and hills which were full of cows. There was also a horse and some hens roaming around which our kids loved.

The location is fantastic as its 5 mins from Harlech castle and right in the middle of Barmouth and Porthmadog. We were spoilt with choice for days out.

Disliked The cleanliness was non existent. Was there for 4 nights and the toilets and shower weren’t cleaned once. There were used tampon applicators on the floor that hadn’t been picked up since we got there so who knows how long they had been there! The sanitary bin hadn’t been emptied the whole time either and it was full due to wrappers sticking out the lid. Another horrible thing was there was no soap in the loos the ENTIRE time we were there. So people were using the loo and then touching all the door handles without washing their hands 🤢🤢. Thankfully we carried our own soap to and from the loos. The only thing that was stocked up was toilet roll and even that ran out a few times but can be expected. Shower was… ok. Not too dirty but not the cleanest either and probably wasn’t cleaned when we were there. Felt like a biohazard.

The washing up station? Vile. Never seen anything so dirty. We filled up our own bowl and washed up at the tent.

We spoke to a couple who left after one night as they couldn’t use the facilities.

The bin area was a shambles to say the least.

I never did find the chemical disposal…

I don’t think we will be back unless things change which is a shame because it could be absolutely beautiful.

Liked Wonderful location and brilliant value for money. The views over the bay are incredible, and the pitch sizes were really generous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked 1 shower for a hole campsite really, really needs looking at.

Liked Absolutely lovely, Would definately stay agen. The host was amasing. Very accomodating and friendly. Loved the fact that it was a working farm, Great location to keep little ppl busy. Mr Roberts is very knowledgeable of the area. He accomodated all our needs and Asks. Plenty to see and Do. Facilities were excellent. Ardderchog

Liked We had a lovely stay at this campsite.it was clean , peaceful and very well maintained ,while still being affordable. The facilities were kept tidy. Great value for money and lovely place to relax and enjoy the place.we would definitely come back again!
