What customers say

Lovely lakeside spot for watersports on Lake Bala. Clean facilities and friendly staff highlighted. Spacious pitches. Popular with families for its peace, though can get busy and noisy at peak times. WiFi and dog walking areas could be improved.

Powered grass campervan or trailer tent site

Liked Beautiful setting with direct access to the lake, we really enjoyed paddleboarding while staying here.
The site itself was really well kept and the toilets and showers were spotless. Never had to wait for a shower despite being here during mid August.
Would definitely recommend 👌

Powered grass caravan site

Liked Views and scenery, easy of access. Dog walk.

Lakeside close, easy access to town.

Disliked Disliked how close everyone was pitched, felt cramped bit clausaphobic, on top of each other.

People walking really close to my unit, had to get some solar lights to put round A frame so people could avoid walking into it.

(Nothing to do with staff) Shame about how other campers let their kids run riot, no regards for others or facilities.

Powered concrete slab motorhome site

Liked Fabulous site great pitch location well worth the extra few pounds for a hard standing with electric the lake was amazing. Nice bike ride into the village didn’t take very long at all. Fabulous use on the way down with our bikes quite a long way to walk but would still be worth it maybe not on holiday.

Disliked We disliked the fact that there was only one toilet block. It was miles away from everything. There was plenty of toilets and showers. It was just a really long walk when you’re desperate for the loo or have children that are desperate for the loo.

Liked Nice showers/toilets. Shop was well stocked with essentials

Disliked Quite a noisey site. Supposed to be quiet after 10.30 but we were kept awake until 12.30 one night by noise.
Paid extra for "premium" WiFi but it was rubbish.
