Liked: Location and simplicity of the site, but still near a road. Natural environment and plenty of space.
Disliked: Not as secluded as I may have liked, but that is inevitable if you want to have a car with you

Liked: Pretty field and some good walks in area.
Only one other person on site which is amazing in school holidays! Level pitches.
No phone signal , internet, so little distraction.
Disliked: Far too close to quite a busy road. The peace and quiet , low impact, wildlife haven elements are ruined by the road. Water pressure is incredibly poor on the tap.
Far too expensive for what you get in comparison to other similar sites because basically you are parking up in a field with a tap .

From the manager: Hi, Thank you for your positive feedback! We have had water pressure issues but has since been solved so I apologise for that! We understand it’s not too everyone’s taste but take your opinions onboard and respect your views. Thankyou Robert

Liked: Beautiful simple but does everything you need wild campsite, very quite. Robert was a lovely host that checked in with me to make sure I had everything I needed.
Disliked: Not a dislike at all but it should be noted there is absolutely no phone signal so check in with your family before you arrive at the site

Liked: A pristine meadow perfect for camping! Only 3 tents on the Friday and just me on Saturday, so I felt reassured that I could keep my car next to my pitch. I really liked that there was absolutely no phone reception, so no distractions and perfect for proper relaxation. Prompt and friendly communication from the host; the campsite was well signposted. Buzzards and Red Kites joined me overhead as I ate breakfast on Sunday, a real treat!!

Liked: Really lovely location, with great views and access to the Glyndŵr's Way. We had the option to order takeaway food so we had lasagne with salad for dinner and then granola with fruit and yogurt for breakfast - which were all very nice! We also requested a fire pit for the evening which was easy to use and we had the option of buying logs as we didn’t bring our own.
The owner was friendly and enthusiastic - making us feel welcome. Overall we had a lovely stay.
Disliked: Very basic facilities with no electric - so not for everyone, however suited us as we enjoy a more ‘wild camping’ experience.
