Liked Very calm, peaceful and nice camping. Very beautiful sunrises and night sky full of stars. Big sizes of grass pitches. Free wifi, drink water on every pitch. If need can use washing machine, dryer and e-car charger for extra charge. Friendly owner. Really recommend this site for calm people.

Liked Excellent little site, camped here for 4 nights. From the minute we arrived until we left everything was perfect, menna greeted us with a welcome bag and took the time to have a lovely conversation with you (really a lovely lady)shower block was spacious and lovely hot showers, nice laundry and dish washing area, lovely views, plenty of cows 😉 but not a problem. Ideal base for visiting little towns I would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Liked Small campsite, perfect for peace & quiet.

Lovely location, minimal noise & gorgeous views.

Disliked The showers/toilets. They need a good clean. I understand camping isn't gleaming clean but the floor looks like it hasn't seen some bleach for a long time.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate our guests views.
The floor is a high quality non slip flooring which when laid we were staringly advised not to use any form or bleach on the floor as this can damage the surface of the floor. We use a specialised formula to wash the floors that doesn't damage the surface.
The specific flooring we chose does have a gray base with black flecks in it which at the first instance could look as if it's dirty . We do clean the floors and shower units twice a day and we also provide mops and brushes within the unit.
We look forward to welcoming you back again if you are in the area.

Local attractions

Getting up into the heart of the Cambrian mountains for a proper hike will take about half an hour in the car; for a little warm-up there are several trails you can follow directly from the site. For more strolls, head to Cors Caron Nature Reserve (15 minutes’ drive), where you can follow the old railway line or take the boardwalk around the reserve. Also very much worth a wander are Devil’s Bridge Falls (35 minutes), where a waterfall cascades into a stunning wooded gorge, and routes that take you to the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey (25 minutes). The National Trust estate at Llanerchaeron (half an hour) is another popular spot, with a walled garden, a wild park area and a lake as well as the John Nash-designed Georgian villa itself. And of course there are always the gorgeous walks of the Ceredigion Coast Path to add to the mix too – or you could head straight to lovely coastal towns like the colourful harbour town of Aberaeron (half an hour) or New Quay (40 minutes), the jumping-off point for dolphin-spotting trips and other sea safaris.
