What customers say
Awesome coastal spot with sea views & beach access. Staff are legends, facilities spotless. Shelters are cosy, some with hot tubs. Great walks nearby. A few moans about Wi-Fi costs & minor upkeep issues.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, as of the floor in the shower block it can get wet when the swimming pool is open due to the bathers back and for using the showers.
Kind Regards
Carole.
We had a great stay here. The pods are a good alternative
Geodesic dome (hot tub, no pets, wood-burning stove)
Liked Great location, very peaceful, clean and comfortable.
Disliked Facilities a little too basic for what you pay for. Few points that the owners need to improve on
1. The bbq is good however was not clean on arrival. I was told ‘there is a bbq but it’s old and rusty so you will need to put something on top of it if you want to cook on it. It was not rusty, just needed a good clean. If you advertise a bbq then make sure it’s in good working order
2. The hot tub. Great idea however I would expect a minimum of three bags of firewood to be part of the booking to allow the hot tub to be heated at no additional cost for at least one time. You are only supplied two bags of wood and it’s a small fortune to buy more 😢
3. They advertise that the shop on site has everything needed as basic essentials. I would expect cereal to be part of that offering but the shop does not sell it.
4. If you are staying in the far away pod you access the toilet facilities by walking past the closer pod and it’s a gravel path. This is not ideal in the middle of the night as it’s bound to wake up the neighbours. Putting some patio stones or a wooden path would improve this.

Everything is great, clean, fully functional…
Seahaar Beach 1 bedroom cabin (hot tub, deluxe)
Liked Everything is great, clean, fully functional for an amazing break away. Hot tub fantastic. No complaints at all!
Highly recommended, only slight grumble is WiFi could have been included in the price, as phone signal very poor so would have been handy to have the WiFi for calls etc. But you can pre book this so my fault for not doing so.

Sehr schöner Platz in toller Umgebung.
Powered grass caravan site

Grim. I cannot believe I paid what I did for accommodation so poor.
Geodesic dome (no pets)
Liked The nice Welsh manager was very friendly and efficient. The toilets were clean. The showers were warm.
Disliked Everything else. The accommodation had nothing included, not even the bare minimum. There's a wood burner but no kindling, firelighters, or even matches. Of course these are available - for a price - from the shop at reception, as they know you will need these to use the wood burner, fire pit or hot tub you already paid for. There is no lighting (there are some cheap battery powered fairy lights but the batteries were dead). There was a slot for a torch by the door but this was missing. The bed was two single beds pushed together, and they would separate in the night so one person would end up falling into the crack in the middle. The light outside shone straight through the canvas of the dome (as there wasn't a shield to direct the light just on to the path), so we couldn't sleep without eye masks. There was no privacy from the dome next door as their only way out was to walk on loud gravel right by our seating area. The camping kitchen is a joke - nothing is provided, not even a pan or a bottle opener. Even the cookers, you have to pay extra for. I'm sure the fire extinguishers would cost extra if they were allowed to get away with it legally.
I couldn't use the WiFi either - the signal is password protected, but the instructions just say to 'follow the prompts online'. Obviously this is outdated and the WiFi has changed since this was written. Unfortunately as checkin is 4pm earliest and the reception closes an hour later, we didn't discover this problem until reception was closed. Instead, I ate through my phone's data plan playing podcasts through headphones trying to drown out the sounds of our neighbours' dome snoring.
I know we were glamping so I wouldn't expect a hotel room level of facilities. However, if you are paying close to £100 a night, I'd expect at least a comfortable bed, or a warm shelter, or some sort of electricity, or at the very least a private place to stay. Any one of the above could justify the price. Otherwise, there's basically no difference to just camping in a field for free.

Well equipped site with friendly, helpful staff and clean facilities.
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Well equipped site with very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The facilities were really clean and there were plenty of toilets and showers, relative to the number of guests. Very close to the beach (1 minute walk) and we saw dolphins when we were there!
Disliked We couldn't see the sea from our pitch because of the static caravans, but that's a minor thing because the beach is SO close.

A busy site with tired facilities.
Powered grass caravan site
Liked The views were lovely of the sea.
Disliked The showers did not work on the second morning and I felt the pitches were too clots together. The toilet block was tired and dated and was in need of modernisation. The price was very expensive also.
