What customers say
Great coastal campsite with lovely beach views. Friendly staff and generally clean facilities, though some are a bit dated. Peaceful and family-friendly. Minor notes on pitch flatness and Wi-Fi. Many plan to return.

Noisy but great views great location for Galloway good walks on beach
Powered grass tent site
Liked Great for the beach and walks around the site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Closed secure site. Electricity was great
Disliked Pitch sizes were small and cramped although views were very good. Grass and ground could have been better. Site was noisy for three of our four days mainly no doubt due to weekend and it being summer. Toilets were far to far a way from our pitch which required a dark night time walk. Also because of beach use the toilets were often wet and a little dirty. Had to pay extra for the Wifi

Liked Location was good
The toilets were well maintained
Staff were friendly
The site has a small shop
Disliked Shop is quite pricey and has limited stock, no ice sold for example. It also shuts quite early. No food outlets.
These are minor points, positives definitely outweigh these!

Lovely site would be perfect if tent areas could be flattened more
Powered grass tent site
Liked Nice clean site access straight to the beach
Beautiful views over the bay
Very quiet site low light pollution for great night sky
Showers and toilets not new but clean and maintained well good pressure too
Disliked Almost all the tent pitches have no flat space and a lot of holes from all the rabbits.

Great location. But we wont look to come back.
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Incredible location.
Two adults and two dogs, direct access to beach.
Level pitches with decent space.
Disliked As a touring caravan I did not like the set up as we were surrounded by static caravans. Just a personal preference.
The flooring in the toilet and showers was treacherous. So slippery. I nearly went over myself and saw 2 people stack it.
Showers don’t drain well. Adding to the issue of the slippery floors.
Tired facilities.
£6.50 for internet. Rubbish. The signal you get from this is so poor there is no point in paying extra. If you’re craving signal, then go to the beach. 4G there.
I had a question prior to arrival so emailed info@gillespie-leisure.co.uk a week before arrival- got no response.

Beach access from site, friendly staff.…
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Beach access from site, friendly staff. Easily accessible site.
Disliked Pitch 25 has a large electrical box partly obstructing the pitch, didn't really feel like a pitch had a very squashed feeling. Bathroom floors seemed to be wet and sandy each morning. Most of the showers were so small that there wasn't any dry floor to get dressed on, really needed a shower curtain to divide area. Gents bathroom had a smell of urine on the Saturday evening.
