What customers say
Immaculately kept, adult-only site with spotless facilities and thoughtful extras. Generous, level pitches. Friendly owners offer great local tips. Some road noise, but mostly not an issue. Beautifully presented, especially the charming night lights, perfect for stopovers and local exploration.

Too much spent on the look of the place but not on the practical side.

Liked Clean shower and toilet facilities. Cosmetically good.
Disliked Extremely tight to manoeuvre caravan on to pitch. Pitch was small and too close to neighbouring caravans, which meant lack of privacy. Nobody to greet us on arrival. Could not get WIFI at all . Very loud road noise which kept us awake during the night. One shower, there are two, wasn't working, only cold water was coming out which I discovered after getting undressed. Had to get dressed and go into the other shower. On leaving the owner didn't ask us if we enjoyed our stay.

From the manager: We were at a family funeral when we arrived and so we left you a welcome note for when you arrived. You decided not to use your motor mover to site your caravan and then parked your car on the grass, rather than the hardstanding provided. Strange how you didn't mention that you had a problem with the shower or WiFi whilst you were here.
Everyone brings happiness to Greenacre Place - Most when they arrive and a small minority, when they leave!
Excellent as a stop off point along your journey.

Liked Very clean, well laid out site. Small and compact site and adults only, which was nice for us older folk.
Disliked On the day we arrived (Friday) there was heavy traffic on the main road and the noise was noticeable but not enough to spoil the stay.

A beautiful little site which is kept spotless
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The neatly kept pitches, the spotless toilets, the homely feel, the attention to detail and the twinkling fairy lights. Also the fact it was small and adults only as we have a reactive dog who’s wound up by screaming kids and all the other sites nearby are packed with them. Lots have said about the road being noisy which worried me at first but I had the best sleep of our entire trip the 3 nights we were there so i wasn’t bothered by it. Obviously if you’re a light sleeper it would be an issue but we felt the noise was minimal considering. Our dogs also begged us each day to go in the dog walking area. It’s fab. They loved the toys and would of stayed in it all day if they could 😂
