- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- A cable measuring at least 20 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 7.5 metres are not allowed.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- The site does not accept fifth-wheel, Hobby or Weippert caravans.

A great spot! Clean, peaceful, with spacious pitches & great facilities (hot showers, plenty of washing-up space). Friendly owners, ideal for exploring Cornwall. Fishing lakes are a bonus. Some found mosquitoes bothersome at night, and wished for covered washing-up. Shop hours and WiFi could be improved.

We also appreciate your comments about the gnats. Being surrounded by beautiful countryside and lakes can unfortunately mean more insects during the odd evening, particularly when there is very hot sun followed by strong rain. However, this is few and far between, so most times any insects are not an issue and instead support a thriving ecosystem with greater biodiversity. We live on the park and also have a large garden pond next to our houses and we do not find it to be an issue.

Liked Bathrooms and showers were spotless, nice big pitches, bins emptied constantly, sinks right by pitches. Close to Newquay and Perranporth which is ideal for my family.
Disliked I had read reviews of a laundrette being onsite, there isn’t.

We are encouraged to read the facilities and park were constantly kept tidy and clean, as this is always a priority for us.
With regards to the laundry, we did have a launderette on the park, for many years, but this season (2025) due to dwindling lack of use and regular guests' requests, we changed the building into a Wi-Fi Room with free wi-fi access, an indoor dishwashing sink, ice pack freezer and tourism information leaflets. All accessible 24hrs a day.

Liked The location was fantastic, all the pitches were great condition, all flat - perfect. The facilities were top notch! We’ve been to a fair few campsites and this has to be in our top 3 favourites. We will definitely be back again.

Liked Amazing camping site. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Toilets and showers nice and clean, lots of pot washing areas around the site and 3 fishing lakes just behind the fence.

Thank you for your comment regarding a shop. We had a shop on the park for many years selling food, drinks etc, but unfortunately as time progressed it was used less and less and we could not compete with the huge variety supplied by the local supermarkets. We do also have an excellent local shop in the village, which we support as a family all year round.
